Delighted to be a part of the B20 meeting held at Chintan Bhawan, as a part of the G20 Summit.

The theme of “Opportunities for Multilateral Business Partnerships in Tourism, Hospitality, Pharmaceutical and Organic Farming” of B20 conference today, is highly impressive and important.

Women empowerment and gender equality have traditionally been an epitome of inclusive development in Sikkim. The women of Sikkim actively and massively contribute to the state as administrators, policy makers, educators, legislators, famers, social actors, community leaders and entrepreneurs.

Sikkim is the core of India that promotes globalisation of locals including indigenous knowledge, development practices, gender equality, community partnership and zero carbon - climate conservation experimentation. So far the globalization process has been just one way i.e. localization of globals. We want to reverse this process.

Siliguri, 9th March 2023(IPR):
The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim , Shri Prem Singh Tamang landed at Bagdogra airport today.

He has returned after having attended the oath- taking ceremony of the Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. Dr Manik Saha at Agartala and Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad K Sangma.

He was received by Shri Jacob Khaling ,Political Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Bikash Basnet,Press Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Minister and officials from Protocol Unit, Siliguri.

Hon'ble Minister Agriculture, Shree Lok Nath Sharma chaired the Distribution cm Training Programme of Agriculture Machinaries here at Dentam today.
The programme was aimed at educating the progressive farmers regarding various modern aspects of farming, the schemes and opportunities initiated by the State and the Central Government.

Hon'ble Minister in his discourse highlighted the various welfare schemes initiated to incentivize the farming communities and boom the products.
Government Incentives on every farming product ranging from dairy to cardamom and everything inbetween is the testimony of seriousness of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha led State Government towards upliftment of our farming communities.

The programme concluded with the distribution of Farming Machinaries including power tiller, Chaff Cutter, Mini Rice Mill and Spice Grinder to various beneficiaries.

Hon'ble Minister was accompanied by Party Vice President Shree Purna Hang S***a, APS West Shree Madhusudhan Sharma, Hon'ble Chairman Shree J.B Tamling, Party executives, Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat Members, Women Self Help Groups and Departmental Officials.
The programme also saw the healthy participation of general public
