Greetings everyone,

These two pictures are the cover for the special edition of Foroyaa Newspaper. It is called Foroyaa Supplement. There was a first edition and this is the second edition.

This edition covers some of the controversial issues surrounding the Draft Constitution of 2020. The edition covers the issue of secularism, citizenship and some other topics. It is available for D50. We can deliver it to you. In case you need it, you can please let me know.

Unlocking Africa's Potential: NGOs Unite for Human Rights, Democracy, and Trade
ARUSHA, TANZANIA – The stage is set for a remarkable three-day gathering of champions for human rights, democracy, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies (ACDHRS), in partnership with the African Commission for Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), proudly announces the "Forum on the Participation of NGOs in the 77th Ordinary Sessions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and 42nd African Human Rights Book Fair," taking place from October 16th to 18th, 2023, at the prestigious Arusha International Conference Center.
Diverse voices will converge at this event, bringing together representatives from African civil society and NGOs, international organizations, youth advocates, human rights champions, academics, and media professionals. The common goal is to foster cooperation and strengthen the protection and promotion of human rights in Africa, guided by the theme of "ACCELERATION OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENTAL FREE TRADE AREA IMPLEMENTATION," aligning with the African Union's focus for 2023.

In an answer to a question at the National Assembly the Vice President did give contradictory statement which needs further clarification. He indicated that the government will submit the draft constitution for consideration by the National Assembly but added that the said constitution was being reviewed.
