Support James.

Background Info: The admin of this page is involved in several humanitarian activities. We believe in helping the helpless, our activities go beyond reporting, we help society's less privileged people.

James is school boy in the Gambia. He is attending Anne Marie Javouhey School. His father worked in the United Kingdom while he stayed with his mother and siblings in the Gambia. In 2021, his father became ill and was unable to go to work regularly. The family back home started struggling because they depended on the monthly funds sent by Jame's father for family upkeep. Sadly, in February 2023 James father died. A tragedy for the family!

James mother met admin and explained her family plight to us. Her son James risks staying out of school because she is unable to financially support James and her other children from the cleaner job she does. She wants us to help her so that at least James can continue going to school unhindered by finances. We promised to share with our audiences.

Note: James's situation is not unheard of in the Gambia. Most families here live on less than $1.25 dollars a day. That's the true definition of chronic poverty! In the near future, we plan on creating a fund to support such kids. They deserve something better.

Sukuta-Jabang shooting: Here is a summary of what government spokesperson Sankareh said on West Coast Radio

~ Ousainou Bojang was successfully extradited and detained in a safe undisclosed location in the country.

~ Ousainou has been cooperative and investigators are yielding a treasure trove of information and excellent leads.

~ Ousainou’s combat boots have been recovered.

~ The money Ousainou was paid has been recovered. Sankareh described him as a hired assailant.

~ The car Ousainou used has been recovered.

~ Ousainou is helping the investigators to recover his murder weapon - the gun.

~ Ousainou led the investigators to a lodge/motel where he and his co-conspirators were lodged by their financiers.

~ The police have started arresting most of his co-conspirators.

~ The police have footage of his appearance in Banjul during the protest against the trial of the chairman of Brikama Area council.

~ The investigation reveals that the conspirators surveilled several security installations and their intentions were to carry out mass murder and significant harm on PIU and police officers.

Breaking News......

Police Killer Apprehended in Jululung, Cassamance.

The gunman that shot and killed 3 Police officers at the Sukuta Traffic Lights last night have been found. Authorities of the two countries are working on extraditing the criminal to the Gambia.

Other news just in has it that the female officer that was admitted at the Ndemban Clinic is dead. May her soul rest in peace.

Two Men in Uniform Killed: Is Terrorism Building Up in the Gambia?

I came to the tragic realisation last night that two PIU officers were shot and killed in cold blood. What? You heard me right, our noble men in uniform killed by an unknown gunman at the Sukuta Traffic Lights.

The Gambia is becoming a breeding ground for all sorts of criminals, it is about time President Barrow stops the softness and start dealing with such criminals without mercy. Our security officers must stop carrying empty guns around and actually carry loaded guns.

The nonsense must stop!

South Africa, Nigeria, Algeria, Angola, and Libya produces more than 60% (⅔) of Africa's mineral wealth.
Only South Africa was approved to join the BRICS from the above list while also including Egypt and Ethiopia recently which has lesser natural minerals.

China also has higher deposit of natural resources than any African country. China's natural resources is estimated at $23 trillion.

Why do we think that China is using BRICS to extort Africa's mineral resources? I don't think so.

It will be more profitable for Africa to partner with China than to partner with USA, France and Britain.

Great Zimbabwe is the oldest stone building on Earth. The hundreds of similar structures spread across Zimbabwe and northeast South Africa, were built by Black Africans 15,000 years before any stone building was erected in Europe.

When Europeans first saw these they made great efforts to claim they were built by Asiatics. This was the standard view until their unwarranted claim fell apart under inspection.

Upset that they had to reveal that these wonders were built by Africans, the Europeans tried to reduce the date of them and claim they were less than a thousand years old, though there is zero archaeological evidence to support such a recent date.

Stone ruins cannot be dated by the stone alone but require organic material within the stone to date them, such as mortar to bind the stones.

This is why Great Zimbabwe and the Great Pyramids cannot be dated using any archaeological method, they DO NOT use any mortar or organic material in their construction.

The patina that remains on the rock is unreliable because they could derive from recent fires which commonly occur in these areas during dry season.

The best way to date them is to realize that they were mostly built using astronomical alignments.

18,000 years old is actually a very modest date, for according to modern White archaeologists, such as Johane Heine and Tellinger, these southeast African stone castles were built over 100,000 years ago and are the oldest stone buildings on Earth.

He’s a Nigerian playwright, novelist, poet, and essayist in the English language and was born on the 13th of July, 1934.

In 1986, he became the first Sub-Saharan African to be awarded a Nobel Prize in literature.

U.S. Embassy Banjul Receives Fulbright Specialist!

Please join us in welcoming Professor Tilman Wolf, a Fulbright Specialist, who recently arrived in Banjul for a Fulbright Program. Prof. Wolf’s Banjul tour is facilitated by the U.S. Embassy in Banjul, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education,Research Science and Technology. He will be collaborating with officials at the University of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) of The Gambia, in developing an Integrated Entrepreneurship curriculum for the BSc programs at the College of Science and Engineering and will assist in the establishment of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of USET.

The move reaffirms the United States Government’s commitment to promoting quality education in The Gambia and empowering the next generation of leaders. Tilman Wolf is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and Associate Chancellor for Space and Capital Planning at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His responsibilities include coordination of teaching initiatives, space assignments and capital projects, academic personnel reviews, and technology for remote instruction.

As Associate Dean of Engineering, he led efforts to establish a new Department of Biomedical Engineering, for which he served as interim department head. He co-leads a campus-wide training program to prepare graduate students for teaching. He is engaged in research and teaching in the areas of computer networks, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and machine learning.

The private chef 🥘 for Arsenal FC ⚽️, Bernice Kariuki, has resigned.

It was with great gratitude that she thanked the team for allowing her to serve as their first-ever teaching chef, and she also thanked Kenya 🇰🇪 for her constant support.

“A final day flourish! Finished the season with a bang. Simply the best! Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal. The 2022/2023 campaign was the best special season ever. I hang my gloves as a very proud chef. It has been an honour working for the best club in the world. I was truly humbled,” she wrote.

“More blessings in my next Job. The experience has been like a royal dream, truly humbled. Thank you, especially my country Kenya,” she added.

A Nairobi native, Kariuki was hired by Arsenal FC under the new management of Mikel Arteta during the club's transition in 2021.

“I met Auba at a Christmas party and asked him whether there were any vacancies at Arsenal. To my surprise, he said I could be his personal chef and I was like, "What?" and that's where I got my job. He liked the pilau I did.

Bernice was privileged to prepare meals for renowned personalities like Nicholas Pepe, Pierre Aubameyang, and Thomas Partey among others. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

She previously worked in prestigious hotels such as the Dorchester Hotel and Waldorf Hilton Hotel in the United Kingdom (UK).

Victory Celebrations Continue Across The Country!
