Central Spark is a spooky celebration at Central Park! Everyone is invited to the free family-friendly Halloween festivities at Burnaby’s signature event, Central Spark.

Enjoy a lively dance party with a DJ, delicious bites from food trucks, spooky entertainment, photo ops, a dazzling drone light display, and a spectacular fireworks show.

The fun kicks off at 6 pm along Patterson Avenue (from Kingsway to Central Boulevard) and at Central Park, with the fireworks lighting up the sky at 7:30 pm, and the event wrapping up around 8 pm. Costumes are highly encouraged!

Infidels Jazz Presents Mary Ancheta MAQkestra Plays Betty Davis

Betty Davis was one of the most important voices of 1970's funk....a flamboyant funk diva a full decade before there was such a thing, with a discography full of sexually aggressive and incredibly funky tunes that weren't hits, but should have been.
She's long been an influence on Vancouver based keyboardist, producer, and all-around phenom Mary Ancheta, which has led Mary to this special night at Hero's Welcome full of Davis' most loved tunes, as well as some deep cuts.
