Hidden away on little Galiano Island is Bodega Ridge, a charming yet sophisticated cabin experience ready for anyone looking to escape to the Gulf Islands. Our team spent a few days there shooting the experience - Bodega acted as launch pad for local hikes, beach combs and allowed us to catch the annual sea lion migration. Their restaurant Lola was spectacular and offered a colourful fusion of South East Asian and local cuisine. If you’re looking for an easily accessible getaway from Vancouver, we can’t recommend Bodega Ridge highly enough!

This summer our team shot the Vancouver Open, the largest professional beach volleyball tournament in Canada. This tourney sees players from all over the world, including AVP pros and Olympians! Amber Pacific Studios handled the video production, photography, and livestream. Thanks Volleyball BC for having us out, it was a spectacular weekend of volleyball! ☀️🏐 #videoproduction #volleyball #amberpacificstudios

Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site - Restoration of the Ways

Earlier this Spring we teamed up with Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site to film the restoration of Britannia's boat carriage system. (the giant winch/pully/rail system that raises boats into the actual boatyard) BHS restored a beautiful vessel called the MV Burnaby, and used the carriages to raise it out of the Fraser and into the museum for exhibition. This endeavour took years of planning and labour to make reality. The MV Burnaby with the working carriages (and our video!) are now on display and open to the public in Britannia's main building. Go check them out for yourself and enjoy some of the rich history of Steveston's maritime past! ⚓️🎥
