I’ve been capturing facial expressions wherever possible — continuing along the same vein as my series for GOLD THREADS.

This is a work in progress, drawn from life at our local Amazi Coffee House…. There’s a great little weekly meetup of painters, draw-ers, collagists, art journalists, sculptors, basically makers and creatives of any kind who want to bring a small project and create in the company of others creating. So grateful for this.

50. THIS?

I’ve been spending most of my free time in the garden recently :) No regrets. I think somehow there is a new union to make between garden and art, and I’m interested in seeing where that leads.

I have enjoyed visiting with some of my favourite people in the garden this spring! It’s teaching me much, and also bringing friends closer.

Also... we are nearly through The Artist’s Way :) Chapter 12 is the final and that is this coming week for us.
