Your Lordship,
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (Mathew 28:18-20).
With hearts brimming with joy and reverence, we extend to you the most heartfelt of welcomes to Lou Mawien Community. It is an honour beyond measure to receive you in this sacred place, where the esteemed servant of God, Late Bishop, Rudolf Deng Majak, an eminent personality in the Catholic Church, was born and hailed from. Your presence here not only honours our community but also connects us to the rich spiritual legacy that our land holds.
We express our profound gratitude to God for preserving your life during the tragic incident in Rumbek on April 25, 2021. Your survival is a testament to your unwavering faith, resilience, and the divine protection that surrounds you. We believe that, your presence among us today is a testament to God's providence and a powerful reminder of the importance of your mission.
As we welcome you to Lou Mawien Community, we are reminded of the selfless dedication and tireless service exemplified by Late Bishop, Rudolf Deng Majak. His life and ministry have left an indelible mark on our hearts and continue to inspire us to walk the path of love, compassion, and faith. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor his memory and draw strength from his remarkable example.
Lou Mawien is a vibrant and growing community located in Tonj North County of Warrap State. It has significant population of about 97,275 people (South Sudan Population Estimates, 2021). This figure doubles the total population of Awerial County (47,041) and Wulu County (40,550) of Lakes State combined together. This is according to Sudan’s 5th Population and Housing Census, 2008 (Source: South Sudan National Bureau of Statistics, 2008 (https://www.citypopulation.de/en/southsudan/admin/84_lakes/)
Your Lordship, your visit to our community fills us with renewed hope and encouragement. We eagerly anticipate the wisdom and blessings you will share with us during this blessed occasion. Your words will resonate deeply within our souls, guiding us to deepen our spiritual journey and strengthen our commitment to God and our community.
May your time in Lou Mawien be blessed with divine guidance, boundless love, and unwavering support. As you walk among us, may you feel the embrace of our community's warmth, hospitality, and unwavering faith. We are grateful for the opportunity to receive your guidance and learn from your deep spiritual insights.
