THE RADICAL STATEMENT OF FIGHTERS ON THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP CRISIS OF ASA-UOJ

It was on 30th of April when 9 Executive Members of ASA-UOJ broke out from Executive and accused Chairman of mismanagement of funds and from that very day, we alerted the General Assembly of ASA-UOJ students that we are going to clarify fighters position towards this alleged leadership crisis.

On the following day, we clarify the waves that yes, we were vocal in pronouncing Mr. Amet Majok Majok to become a Chairman of ASA-UOJ but not to an extent that when he steals, we will defend him, we don't defend thieves and we equally added that, now, a way is open for those 9 Executive Members and all the members of General Assembly who have documented evidences towards Chairman, Secretary General and Finance Secretary to fight and bring them to book and make sure that if you get clear evidences, we will follow you.

From that day, Lual Deng Lual, the Deputy Information Secretary approached us, explained everything and we understood him, we also promised him that we are going to be there for you because we are for anti-corruption and accountability but let this war has no "election-face" meaning that a war should be just and honorable war without emotions of elections because most of you were from that side but we prioritises NBGS not who we were during elections.

We also told them (9Executive Members) that direct General Assembly based on constitutional proceedings to sit down and form an investigatory committee or fact finding committee to audit the Chair, SG and FS basically on the data that you have gathered and is currently available at hand against them but unfortunately, they failed.

9 Executive Members begun with visiting NBGS Coordination Office illegally without even informing General Assembly which was unconstitutional because there is no any single article that indicates Coordination Office or Coordinator as the mediator of ASA-UOJ affairs and as Aluong is always not disappointing, he humiliated them so much in his office and again, they rushed-in and recognized illegal committee which was formed without constitutional directives from them (9Executive Members) and worse of all, they resigned leaving everyone confused.

Here, fighters realized that it was not the accountability that they wanted, it was something else and if that's something else, then we are going to fight to defend this mighty Association due to the following reasons;

1. We have realized that out of 9Exexutive Members, 5 were campaign agents of former defeated election opponent of Chairman-elect making a war to reflect election-face and it deserves a boycott.

2. We took decision of picking a fight to defend the ASA-UOJ from this possible collapse because we felt concerned and worried that should ASA-UOJ collapse today, then where will our vulnerable students get foodstuffs in the Hostel in this hardships yet these boys will go and sit feeling their bellies in their Uncles' homes?

3. School from the other hand has reopened and it's much more expensive (high fees) and where will the masses of our poor and vulnerable students get school fees or sponsorship from if ASA-UOJ gets destroyed today by boys whose Uncles and fathers pays their fees?

4. If we destroy ASA-UOJ today, the foundation will stop, and construction of arakubat (shacks) and latrine within students' residence (Hostel) will also stop and we will pay high renting fees again this year like last year when we paid 14 millions and we don't know this year as pound depreciates.

5. The fact that Mr. Amet Majok Majok as the current Chairman-elect regardless of alleged corruption charges labelled against him, he's still being recognized by hundreds within General Assembly as a hardworking person who has set the records that were not there before in history of ASA-UOJ, e.g For the first time that General Assembly of ASA-UOJ set foot in Freedom and for the first time that ASA-UOJ rose funds upto 80millions SSP and for the first time for ASA-UOJ to secure its own Hostel and foundation laid and other more and thus, he who is progressive have no shortage of enemies of progress and that's why General Assembly including us fighters decided to stand with him and boycott this useless war.

6. We wanted to defend the integrity of ASA-UOJ as a most peaceful, progressive and a world-class Association in this country and such dream made us to decide that ASA-UOJ that has never collapse in the history before must not collapse for some dark reasons and if need be, we need peaceful approaches that may not lead to a total collapse.

7. We're not desperate for accountability at the middle where there are crisis. We urges everyone to keep his corruption charges records until during handing-over. It will be to the leadership to defend their position because our students shall have the new leadership which may remain to work for their welfare and General Assembly audits the outgoing.

8. Lastly, we want to warn this group of former campaign opponent of Chairman-elect, Mr. Amet Majok Majok and all those they have misled that this Association doesn't belong to Amet and to destroy it simply because of the fact that Amet has badly defeated you before, then you will meet us in the half way as General Assembly and we will expose you one by one because it can't be that if you fails elections, you will seek to destroy Association. We warn and if you don't, then we will have no choice but to expose you to NBGS to see you as ones of the upcoming destructive politicians it has for the future.

People have been asking "what my issue is with Aluong Matem?" Just follow this summary!

1. On 24/3/2024, Hon.TAN declared the youth of NBG State as "agents of regime change."
2. On 31/3/2024, Aluong accused me alongside other young men of being 'rebels.' We were arrested and taken to National Security Facility (Aluong was present from the point of arrest to the facility).
3. We were seriously investigated and found innocent, thus released.
4. On being released, Aluong told the security not released me because "Tito is a criminal. He has a stamp and heading paper." When that statement was dismissed for it was not the reason that led to arrest, he told me, "Tito Awen, Juba will be too small for you if you are released again-we will kill you."
5.On 1-2/4/2024, I recorded the statement and open the case.
6. On 3-4/4/2024, witnesses were investigated and arrest warrant issued.
7. 4-5/4/2024, Aluong played a game of "cash throw" claiming to be having immunity.
8. I secured an advocate as my lawyer. He wrote to Attorney General seeking to know what type of Immunity does a coordinator have. It was established that a coordinator has no immunity.
9. A fresh arrest warrant was issued to have him arrested to come explain himself.
10. He was found in the office by four Police men and requested him to go to the station with them. He refused but later decided that he will use his vehicle to go to the station and the police men can use their own vehicle. It was respected but he diverted his route.
11. He was phoned by the head of the CID team that went to his office. He lied to them that 'I will report in the morning. '
12. In the morning, he didn't report and that prompted the investigator and the head of the police station (Brigadier) to talked to him asking him to report by today or tomorrow. He didn't respect any of the promises.
13. He was licensed to be arrested anywhere he is found since he failed to cooperate.
14. He decided to avoid even his own office and residence.
15. Today (5/5/2024), he attended a community fundraising drive at South Sudan Hotel. In respect to the community gathering, I told the police to wait for the function to finish.
16. Of course after the function; he was arrested. He wanted to use force to go but police told him never to think of that.
17. But a certain community leader who happened to be a captain in Tiger rung to Tiger to come for rescue. Tiger's Military Police came and took him by force claiming to be bringing him tomorrow.

We will continue from there tomorrow. This is a life threat and there is nothing to compromise about it. It has nothing to do with government unless he could come out clearly that he said this on behalf of state government then I will sue the state government. But now that it is a personalised statement, it will continue as such.

Suspension of Mr. Amet Majok Majok and Daniel Malith Kuol from using association's stamp and heading paper for their own interests.

Dear members of General Assembly, we the Executive Members learned of continuous breaking of the constitution by Mr. Amet Majok Majok and Daniel Malith Kuol with greatest dismay. We are deeply saddened by how our Appeal is tempered and how the approach of General Assembly's intervention is implicated by Mr. Aluong Matem Mawien.

After thorough deliberations, with considerations to constitutional provisions, we resolved to undertake the following steps to effect from the day of its release.

1. Condemned Mr. Aluong Matem Mawien's negative involvement in the ongoing leadership crisis.

2. Mr. Amet Majok Majok is hereby suspended from association's activities, including engaging people as chairperson of the association.

3. Mr. Amet Majok Majok and Malith Kuol must relinquish association's flash, stamp and all important items to the Executive Members.

4. Executive Members will champion the organization of General Assembly's meeting regardless of Mr. Amet Majok and Daniel Malith attending the event. (The venue and date to be disclosed soon)

5. Revoke the unconstitutional suspension of Mr. Lual Lual Deng and William Lual Dot respectively. The meeting comprised of Mr. Amet Majok, Daniel Malith, Agop Garang and Abraham Thiel Thiel which substantiated to the suspension is null and void.

6. Condemned Mr. Amet Majok's tactics of engaging elders, politicians and using Aluong Matem Mawien to threat Executive Members and members of General Assembly.

7. Failure to comply with all these, Executive Members will sue Mr. Amet Majok and Daniel Malith together with Ms. Agop Garang Kuan.

Therefore, we the Executive Members wish to reiterate to the General Assembly that the issue of our appeal remains paramount to your collective efforts. We are determined to making sure any blockades is constitutionally dealt and no any Executive Member will escape the investigation.

The FIGHTERS are here to announce that we are aware of clouds that go around saying we were the ones who elected Amet Majok Majok and that his critics fears us because they think we can help him should anyone attack him especially as he's today found to have looted the scarced resources of our innocent students along with his Secretary General and Finance Secretary as found or claimed by his own 9+ Executive Members, and we are here to clarify that, it's absolutely a dull thinking to think that we will help him, we don't help thieves.

You have known fighters for so long, we stands for truth, we always stand firm and unapologetic as advocates of anti-corruption and as well a radical fearless voice for the oppressed masses of our democratic NBGS for good three years from now, but there's no any single day that we made a U-turn in our NBGS wars and no politician has ever been reported to have bribed us, no politician defeated us, nor did any politician intimidated us to betray a just, honest and honorable cause of the masses of our people towards all NBGS institutions that bears the names of Aweil including ASA.

So, we want to make it clear in the following details that;

1. We accepts the fact that we supported Amet Majok Majok during his campaign even when he was isolated, we stood tall to convince the masses of our students and unapologetically ushered him into students' top seat but unfortunately, we lost him to wrong elements (Coordination Office group) and we de-associated ourselves from him definitely after we learned that he ran to Staffs Club to go and form the leadership with Coordination Office group who are known thieves and political puppets of TAN and no fighters' representative was there.

2. We are not responsible for that on going war with in Executive of ASA-UOJ which resulted into "Position Paper" because that war is an executive war and none of fighters is in Executive but for General Assembly and if a time for General Assembly come to fight, we will fight.

3. As anti-corruption and one of fearless students who have been fighting for the rights of students' masses in history of ASA-UOJ, we want to assure all the students of ASA-UOJ that on the table of fighters, the corruption is never entertained and thus, we are here to give the constitutional defenders (9+ Members of Executives) and all the students a green light to fight and equally assure them that we are going to fight together with you and prosecute those three accused Members of Executive when found corrupt by General Assembly.

4. We encourage the members of General Assembly to respond to a just and honorable call of 9+ Members of Executive by forming a committee that will bring both Executive and General Assembly together and intervene in the current situation and if three accused Members of Executives are found to have looted our resources, then the 9+ Executives will be given a permission by General Assembly to file a case or impeach the current Chairman, Secretary General and Finance Secretary.

Over 9+ executive members secondly requested the general assembly’s intervention, urge donors to halt funding

At least 10 executive members of ASA-UoJ have petitioned to general assembly’s intervention amidst what they termed as “leadership crisis.”

According to the official document shared this morning on ASA-UoJ official page, it urges well wishers, companies or business people to halt donations to the unnamed three executive members in possession of the stamp and a heading paper.

“No any form of resources or funds from well-wishers, politicians, businessmen and, or organizations/companies should be given to three Executive Members with only stamp and a heading paper,” the statement reads in a part.

The nine Executive Members further reiterated their commitment to dialogue, requesting general assembly intervention before they take any actions worth their concerns.

As EFFOSS, we are calling on all the workers to join us, form a massescrat Political Party and fight for our economic and financial rights. It can't be for us to be treated like this by the foreign owned investments in our own country.

The EFFOSS has got a policy on foreign investments. In our Manifesto, the EFFOSS has promised to allow in to this country only the non-racial and non-exploitive foreign owned investments which will meet the interest of the working masses of our country and we remain firm and unapologetic on that, the foreign investors whose their companies doesn't meet the interest of our working class must must be fined, suspended and asked to go!

We warns Indians, Chinese, Bangladesh, Israelites and other foreign investors to behave, or else, we are going to deal with them because we can't be denied a right to financial and economic rights by foreigners in our own country.

These foreign investors must know, the EFFOSS is not scared and won't hesitate to sue, attack and destroy any foreign enterprise found to have employed our people without contracts and all the above mentioned humiliations.

Gen. Thomas Cirillo says he is not ready to participate in the upcoming Nairobi peace talk.

Unless Juba fulfill what NAS is demanding before he accept to go for negotiation.

Gen. Thomas demands that,

1) Government should create a seat for the Prime Minister which he would run himself.

3) 5 more counties to be declared in Central Equatoria State.

SENEGALESE President-elect, Bassirou Diomaye Faye promised to REPLACE the French-sponsored currency CFA Franc with the country's new National currency.

▪️During their presidential campaign launch on 10 March, 2024, his coalition party backed by popular firebrand Ousmane Sonko promised to create a new national currency and renegotiate mining and energy contracts.

▪️In his 84-page election platform, Faye said Senegal needs to take back control of its economy.

"Convinced that full independence cannot be achieved without controlling the economy, livestock management, fisheries, and agriculture, we are fully committed to achieving food, digital, fiscal, energy and scientific sovereignty," Faye said.

▪️Though the move would pose another threat to West Africa's CFA franc currency, some junta-led states in the region such as Burkina Faso, Guinea and Mali have also said they might abandon it.

▪️The idea of a new currency is popular among some people in Senegal, who think that the CFA franc, the shared currency inherited from French colonial rule, isn't helping an underdeveloped economy.

▪️The 84-page platform listed a number of measures that would need to be implemented before a new currency could be introduced.

▪️The CFA franc was created as an alternative to the dollar and is used in 14 countries in Central and Western Africa.

The Economic Freedom Fighters of South Sudan (EFFOSS) warns Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his family to stop treating Uganda as a family stock.

We reach this decision after we confirmed that Gen. Museveni has appointed his own son Gen. Mahoozi as Chief of Defense of Ugandan People's Defense Forces (UPDF).

While in other hand, we are aware that Gen. Museveni had his wife in the cabinet as the National Minister of Education.

Fellow Africans, we can't allow Museveni and his family to do as they wish in Uganda. Uganda is and will never be a family stock. We call on AU, IGAD, Sahel States, SADC and East African Community to condemn Gen. Museveni now.

The United States President Joe Biden has decided to lift sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.

The sanctions have been in place since 2003 and have been revised and extended since then.

"Although I continue to be concerned with the situation in Zimbabwe, particularly with respect to acts of violence and other human rights abuses against political opponents and with respect to public corruption, including misuse of public authority, the declaration of a national emergency in Executive Order 13288 is no longer needed," Biden said.

Zimbabwe has previously stated that it has lost around U$150 billion in frozen assets as a result of the sanctions, which decimated the SADC nation's economy.

Salva Kiir catches fears as he directs the relocation of the new NilePet Headquarters because of its proximity to his Presidential Palace(J-1).

President Salva Kiir has issued a directive for the relocation of the new Nile Petroleum Corporation (NilePet) headquarters, tasking Governor Emmanuel Adil of Central Equatoria with its implementation as the building's closeness poses a security threat to the Presidential palace.

During the inauguration of the new building on Saturday, President Kiir emphasized its proximity to the country's central headquarters, including his own office.

"As you have seen, the building is excellent, but being situated between the headquarters, anyone working there or visiting can easily observe activities in my compound," Kiir explained.

He then directed the CES governor, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, to find a conducive place for the headquarters.

“Because of this (being close to the presidency), I direct the governor of Central Equatoria to move the headquarters (Nilepet) away from here,” Kiir directed.

In the same event, Minister of Presidential Affairs Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro noted that the new headquarters was not in a strategic location.

“Even this building (headquarters) is not supposed to be here, we are supposed to be somewhere where there is business to investment, but we can’t get that portion of land,” Bangasi said.

He implored the Central Equatoria government to make land available for infrastructure and investment. "Due to its proximity to the presidency, I hereby instruct the governor of Central Equatoria to relocate the headquarters of Nile Petroleum Corporation (NilePet)," directed Kiir.

The Nile Petroleum Corporation Headquarters is a 12-floor building with a basement, ground floor, and 10 upper floors.

According to officials, the construction of the building allegedly surpassed $30 million, prompting apprehension regarding potential corruption linked to its development.

Businessman Wol Dut Anguei Reunites with Former Colleague, Kiir Yor Lual, and Assists with Treatment

Businessman Wol Dut Anguei recently met with his longtime colleague, Kiir Yor Lual, who has been experiencing mental health challenges. The two men had lived together as soldiers in Bor town in 2009, and Lual was shot during the war in 2013.

Wol Dut Anguei took Kiir Yor Lual to the Church of Prophet Ayual in an effort to seek healing for his colleague. He also requested prayers from the community. Wol Dut Anguei has since pledged to take Lual to the hospital for further treatment.

Kiir Yor Lual is from Aweil East (Madhol Yor) and belongs to the Pachierneth Clan. He has been experiencing mental health issues since being shot during the war in 2013.

Wol Dut Anguei is committed to supporting his former colleague and ensuring that he receives the necessary treatment. He has taken the initiative to seek help from the church and has promised to take Lual to the hospital.

According to the look of things , the former mad man is now a very helalthy and smart man physically and mentally the remaining proceedings for him to be fully fine are a few treatments which need assistance

Wol Dut Anguei has called on the community to pray for Kiir Yor Lual and to provide any assistance possible. He believes that with the support of the community, Lual can overcome his challenges and regain his health.
