Public Announcement.

The Management of BCL is hereby inform the general public that the match between Tonj East and Awerial Counties have been called off indefinitely due to some security reasons which involved gunshots at a nearby neighborhood which led to the death of a football fan from Cueibet County.

The Management wants to assure the public that it will avail any information if they come in. We therefore wishes to inform the general public that the incident had nothing to do with the BCL and for the safety of our fans and players, we decided to call off the game.

The Management wishes to present its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.

BCL football fans heads home in different directions very early as BCL vice president call off the match between Awerial and Tonj East due to the security reasons which involved gunshots at the neighbourhood.

JONGLEI-PIBOR LEADERS END TO CROSS-BORDER CONFLICT

The Government of Jonglei State and Pibor Administrative area's have agreed to establish a joint Criss Management Committee, among others resolution, to mitigate inter-communal conflicts affecting the region.

The resolution was made in a meeting of Jonglei State
Governor Mahjoub Biel and Pibor Chief Gola Boyoi in juba on Friday.

The meeting agreed in principle to proactively condemn Criminal activities caused by armed group or individuals From either State against others.

According to the press statement,the joint committee will work to fine concrete solutions to the challenges facing the two areas.

The committee have been mandated to indentify and address the root cause of insecurities,as well as promoting peace, healing and reconciliation amang the neighboring communities.

Chief Administrative Gola Boyoi reiterated alongstanding call for the creation buffer zones along border to enforce security and intercept raiders between the two states.

The two Government have also to committed to working together to secure roads for the citizens and trades by working together to ensure the development of security forces as well as finding ways to secure the safety of children and welcome.

This includes addressing the issue of child and female abductions, both parties agreeing to work together to prevent such incidents in the future.

The statement added that the two leaders pledge close working relations through regular communications and visits Jurisdiction.

Sad news to south sudanese family in Kampala
KAMPALA, May 15 At least six South Sudanese nationals were killed in a fire outbreak in the Ugandan capital of Kampala, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday.

A fire engulfed the residence of Bakita Atyang, a South Sudanese national at Mulanda B, Kisubi, resulting in the loss of six young lives at about 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, Luke Owoyesigyire, deputy public relations officer for Kampala, said in a statement.

"Despite efforts by community members to rescue them, the children, aged between 2 and 16, succumbed to the fire," said Owoyesigyire.

He said the Kisubi Police Station dispatched officers to the scene, along with firefighters from Entebbe Police Division, to contain the fire outbreak.

"The fire was eventually extinguished, and the bodies of the children were recovered and taken to the city mortuary for postmortem examinations," said the spokesperson.

"Initial observations suggest that the fire originated from an electronic kettle left unattended in the sitting room, connected to a socket," he said, adding that the police have launched inquiries and complete investigations to determine the exact cause of the fire.
