‘I am committing su***de now at 11am’ says Local Money Transfer worker

A local money transfer worker Aduol Akol Jiel who works for Kuanjak Money Transfer in Kuajok said he will take his own life.

This came after auditing reports which claimed that Akol had lost 2 Million - an amount which he denied.

“Bro,I am committing su***de now at 11am, it's because of Kuangjak money transfer, the company I work for, I got an accident Last night at almost 6:30pm, rush to hospital and until I receive my situation back this morning, Akol said in a Facebook chat with his friend.

“I heard that Controller by the name of John Wek made the auditing and found that I have a Lost of 2 million ssp.... which I am not aware.” he added

“I could not defend myself I could not defend myself because u can not win any case against Kuangjak. I decided to take my life.
Don't hide this message. Thank you. Rest in peace to me,” Jiel concluded.

Relatives and friends who have contact with Aduol Akol Jiel are urged to console the young man in order to reverse his decision.

Kuangjak is a local money transfer owned by young businessmen from Warrap State.

PRESIDENT KIIR COMMENDS SOUTH SUDAN BASKETBALL NATIONAL TEAM FOR OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION

8th September 2023(Juba)- President Salva Kiir met with the South Sudan Basketball National Team to congratulate them on their remarkable achievement of qualifying for the Olympics 2024. The team's outstanding performance in the Fiba World Cup 2023 secured their place in the prestigious global event.

The meeting took place at the Presidential office, where President Kiir warmly received the players and coaching staff. The President expressed his pride and admiration for the team's dedication, hard work, and exceptional talent, which ultimately led to their qualification for the Olympics.

South Sudan's Men's National Basketball team is currently ranked number in Africa.
