The LSE Law Review is seeking submissions for its Winter Issue! Further details are below:

(1) Submissions for Publication in the LSE Law Review Main Journal (Final Deadline: 5 December 2021)

We are currently accepting submissions for publication in the Winter Issue of our Main Journal. The final deadline is 5 December 2021, 11.59pm UK Time (GMT+1).

We accept:
Research Articles: Academic papers of 4,000 to 20,000 words.
Case Notes: Academic analysis of 1,000 to 4,000 words of a case.
Letters to the Editor: Comments of up to 2,000 words that address current legal developments or bring to the reader’s attention a legal issue that the author considers important.

All submissions should be about an area within UK, EU, and/or International Law. Articles written on laws of other jurisdictions may be accepted where there is a strong comparative analysis with UK, EU, and/or International Law. Please note that all word counts exclude footnotes.

All successful articles will be indexed on Westlaw and published on the LSE Law Review Website, HeinOnline and vLex Justis. The overall best submission for 2021-2022 stands to win a cash prize of £300, sponsored by 3 Verulam Buildings. (2) Submissions for Publication on the LSE Law Review Blog (Submissions published on rolling basis throughout winter)

We are currently accepting blog articles of between 1,000 to 4,000 words (excluding footnotes) for publication on the LSE Law Review Blog. There is no deadline but submissions are considered and published on a rolling basis throughout the winter.

Submissions can be on any legal topic within Public, Private, Criminal or International Law. All submissions should be about an area within UK, EU, and/or International Law. Articles written on laws of other jurisdictions may be accepted where there is a strong comparative analysis with UK, EU, and/or International Law.

The best submissions for 2021-2022 stand to win cash prizes of £100, sponsored by Freshfields. Submission guidelines and previously published articles can be found on: https://blog.lselawreview.com/submissions.html

The UBC Law Review is looking for volunteer Assistant Editors and an Assistant Business Manager for the 2021-2022 school year.

Each year, we typically have 30 Assistant Editor positions, filled primarily by first-year students, however we encourage applications from interested upper-year students as well. This year, we are also recruiting one Assistant Business Manager to support the administrative positions on the Board of Directors. Students who would like to continue working with the UBC Law Review after their first or second year can apply for paid summer positions and/or for Board positions in second term!

2018 SPECIAL EDITION - CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: The UBC Law Review invites you to submit articles, case comments, and legislation comments for publication in our journal. We are currently accepting submissions for Volume 51 Issue 4. This issue will be our 2018 special edition, and it will focus on Canada's efforts to contribute to the achievement of the UN Paris Climate Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals. We are delighted that Professor Jason MacLean of the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, Professor Chris Tollefson of the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, and Associate Dean, Research Meinhard Doelle of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University will be serving as Guest Editors for the special edition.
