Today, 17 November, we celebrate International Students Day and recognise students' achievements worldwide! This day was established in 1941 to commemorate a student demonstration against N**i occupation in what is now Czechoslovakia. Since then, it has become an international celebration to honour all students and their hard work. International Student's Day celebrates the value of cultural diversity on campuses, promotes global awareness of other cultures and encourages civic awareness.

NAPTOSA, the second most prominent educator’s union in South Africa, hosted their first-ever TVET/CET conference in Gauteng on Saturday, 21 October. The conference was an opportunity to get together as a sector, share experiences and best practices, and learn from each other. Our senior education consultant, Kenny Tshikare, exhibited our Succeed In books and spoke on technological integration in teaching and learning, focusing on EduZone. Pictured below are Kenny in presentation mode, our table, and Kenny presenting a lucky prize hamper to one of the delegates.

The Allan Gray Makers Entrepreneurship Inter-College is a national pitching competition that aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in TVET students.
