AFTERMATH OF
10 –12 April 2023

The photo exhibition “Aftermath of ” and the new book published by the HSRC Press “ and its Aftermath: Violence, Wellbeing, and the Student Movement in South Africa” will both be launched in the USA in April at New York University’s Steinhardt School.
Prof. Teboho Moja, who is a higher education policy professsor at NYU hailing from South Africa, is hosting the HSRC’s Prof. Thierry Luescher and Dr. Keamogetse Morwe of the University of Venda. Luescher and Morwe led the research project on the wellbeing impacts of violence during with student activists and students from several South African universities. The photo exhibition will be displayed from 10 –12 April 2023 at New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development (Washington Square Park East, Pless Building, Room 785), and the book launch is planned during the lunch hour on 10 April at the same venue.
