Very sad to announce the passing of Michael Joseph Grainey. Many folks from the early Codex days will remember mike.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.

Folks, an Update from Dave Cole:

For those wondering how Cindy JW has been doing and hoping she has been recovering, well she is not doing so well. She is still struggling and back in the hospital fighting infections again. Turns out all these problems originated from a surgical clamp left in her in 1978. She would appreciate an abundance of prayers.

Hello fellow Codex & Motorola crew,
I wanted to update you on Cindy Warren. First and most importantly everything that is going on should be treatable. Cindy has been ill for about a month now. She has had a few treatable conditions all cascade down at once and some setbacks getting well. We know she is a fighter but right now she will be unreachable. She's tired, not up to having visiters or phone calls. Her husband Glenn is on top of her care and I will be getting updates as they send them out. Remember, all treatable things so we just need to give her time and keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

I'll post more info here on how she is doing as i get them.

Hi Folks, Adam here. I had the chance to FB chat with Cindy. She is home and recuperating. Still too weak for visits or phone calls.

Although home she still has a heck of a battle ahead of her. Not sure if we can say she is out of the woods yet. Glad she is a hell of a fighter. When she can she browses FB and she sees you comments.

Keep sending healing thoughts and prayers please. As i know more will let you know. comment below, she will see them!

Hi Folks, Adam here with some updates on Cindy. After 4+ months in the hospital, she is currently at home. PLEASE NOTE, she is still too weak for phone calls or visitations. When that changes I'll let you know. She has improved enough to go home after being transferred to a Boston hospital but she has a very very long road ahead. Continued prayers for Cindy from all please.

MotoCodex family, another loss to share with you all.... It is with the greatest sadness that I let you know that Susan Cabana has passed away after years of battling cancer. When I first started at Codex/Motorola, Susan was the Executive Assistant we all aspired to be like. She was unflappable, tough, funny and a smart woman. She supported and protected her execs and those she worked with, as a Mama bear would her cubs! Susan loved life, family and friends with everything she had. She was one in a million and for those of you that knew her, you were better for it. Please keep Susan and her family in your thoughts and prayers... RIP Susan....and thank you....

To our MotoCodex Family..another very sad passing to report...Our own sweet Dick Cormier passed away last week after a valiant fight against ALS (thank you Rob Bygrave). We all remember Dick as a sweet, unassuming, kind and thoughtful man, fun to work with and be around. Gary Andrade left us on July 2nd, too young and too soon gone. Please remember Gary and his loved ones in your prayers and please leave a message of condolence so his family knows his old teammates remember what a good guy he was... RIP Gary...
