Played another classic auction game from Reiner Knizia tonight. Amun-Re has a very interesting auction system, plus has you resetting halfway through the game, so you have to plan ahead for the second era. It doesn’t overtake Ra for me, but still solid, and this new edition from Alley Cat Games is beautiful!

Last night we played Atiwa from Lookout Games and Uwe Rosenberg. I’m a fan of most of Uwe’s games, and I especially appreciated the theme of this one! I’m okay with farming as a theme, but there are so many different farming practices around the world from different cultures that could be explored!

Day 3 of GrandCon 2024! Our daughters join us for some party games on the last day of GrandCon, then we head out for some fun dinner and drinks before grabbing some cookies and heading back to the hotel to crash! It was another fantastic convention, and we can't wait until next year!

Our daughters joined us for the final day of the GrandCon Gaming Convention. Played a few fun party games, and they got plenty of freeze dried candies from the Deep Space booth. After saying goodbye to our friends who had traveled in for the show, we went for dinner to Max’s South Seas Hideway for some fun Tiki drinks and great food!

Always have a blast at game days with Evan & Missy! First we played Let’s Go to Japan from Alderac Entertainment Group , which is a very interesting drafting game that plays fast and has a cool way of scoring. Then we played Snow Planner from 14Games which is a dice placement game with a theme that’s barely there, but the gameplay was fun!
