Honestly, I was debating if I wanna call them 5 aesthetic Instagram font combos or most trending Instagram font combos.

But whatever it is, we are definitely seeing some fun font combinations going viral on here.

People are having fun with the aesthetics again and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

Scrapbooking made a huge comeback and with the new portrait format grid Instagram just proved their point of still being all about the aesthetics.

100+ video frames, a bridal suite, 3 construction sites, and a cocktail for lunch…

Forget the people telling you they work 2 hours a day and make 6+ figures a month.

Yesterday I spent my day with a new client, having conversations about way more than just business.

There was mompreneur talk, we brainstormed the best social media marketing approaches for her 3+ businesses and filmed an entire month worth of content…

And this was just the beginning.

Is your profile ready for a new year, new Instagram!?

Instagram profile have changed SO much over the past few years and besides current trends and such it is mainly due to feature updates, accessibility improvements and for SEO reasons.

Did you know the alt text is meant for accessibility but many gurus tell you to use it to amplify your content. This is half true. It works for SEO purposes as well as accessibility because it helps Instagram understand and categorize your content correctly.

However, if your content sucks, alt text won’t do anything for you either. But that’s a whole other story 🙃

🚨No social media manager will like THIS👇🏻

How in the world are we gonna edit all those reels moving forward!?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but CapCut is also owned by ByteDance…

Okay, so there are A LOT of rumors about the TikTok ban out there including CapCut being banned as well and yes, this can happen because they are both owned by ByteDance, same as Lemon8 *unfortunately 🫠

But it’s not final yet!

AND the good news is:

is working in countries that don’t even have TikTok!!!

🚨However, if CapCut ends up getting banned, this list might be your lifesaver.

REEL TALK:

There will be a HUGE gab in our industry if it does get banned, but:

1. It’s not the end of the world and there are always other options:

I’ve been working with in app features and InShot since Reels became a thing on here and really only use for their templates.

2. I’m very certain other apps like will start focusing even more on trends and templates moving forward as well.

3. Maybe this pushes you outside your comfort zone and helps you start creating trends instead of following them 😉

So let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏻 and hope for the best.

Choosing a yearly theme is more than a catchy phrase tho. It’s a guiding principle that shapes your actions and decisions.

Whether you’re looking to refine your goals, stay consistent, or embrace creativity, a yearly theme keeps you grounded and aligned.

Ope, lemme just ask ChatGPT to write that mediocre caption for me and don’t forget to unsave all those CapCut tutorials 🫠

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this one’s for real!

CapCut is owned by ByteDance so its future is uncertain as well. There are a lot of assumptions out there about it being banned as well but I won’t believe it until it has actually happened.

Anyways, I edit all of our client videos in app anyways and if I can’t,

All of this only works if you:

1. Set work boundaries: Designate work hours and personal time to prevent burnout and maintain balance.

2. Practice digital detox: Disconnect from social media during non-working hours to reset your focus and reduce stress.

3. Stay present: Focus on one task at a time—avoid multitasking, which can increase stress and reduce productivity.

4. Take breaks: Integrate 5-10 minute mindfulness breaks throughout your day to recharge and avoid creative burnout.

Social media management is a full-time job and I’m sure many of you don’t follow all of these steps and tbh I don’t either.

But I’m here to continuously learn and improve and so should you 😉

Don’t mind me emptying my camera roll! Here are my November reflections👇🏻

I can’t even tell you how hard it was to choose my favorite pictures suitable for the dump.

Last month I was living the life!

A trip to Europe:
Every year I travel to Europe to visit all of our clients headquartered in Germany and spend a whole month with them creating content, reflecting and setting our new social media strategy for the next year!

4 flights of stairs:
As I was literally walking up four flights of stairs of an historical building every day, each step reminded me that growth requires effort.

Persistence, creativity, and hard work leading to incredible views and rewarding experiences.

Fun times:
This felt like a Hallmark movie…besides going out with my middle school crush I was able to spend some quality time with my best friends from school.

Isn’t it crazy how you don’t see your childhood friends for years and once you get back together it seems like you never left…

A new client:
I was able to sign our biggest client yet - another corporate who is about to expand to the US with an office in Chicago, Houston and Charlotte in need of social media marketing services.

A major hotel collab:
Actually, it was way more than that. I signed a collab with the city and it got me into ALL the popular attractions and a free hotel stay 🤩😭😍

Well and last but not least I also voted, took my 95 year old grandma back with me to the US, moved my mom across the ocean, ran the Grand Rapids turkey trot and went viral with it on TikTok and hosted Thanksgiving dinner.

Now it’s time to get back to routine and grind.

Here’s to , fun times with friends, unexpected social media collabs, amazing existing and new clients and my mom moving to the US.

And don’t forget to follow the perfect photo dump recipe.

🚨THIS is what every photo dump needs to have:

- A standout outfit or fashion moment
- A candid or unposed shot for authenticity
- A scenic view or landscape that sets the mood
- A close-up detail shot
- A group photo or social moment that captures connection
- A playful or unexpected behind-the-scenes image
- A reflective or quiet moment, like a journal, book, or sunrise

And don’t forget to start off with a summarizing first photo as your hook!

I personally like to alternate between a people photo and a no people photo for personal photo dumps but it depends on what your photo dump is about.

Fun fact:
You can also create product or business photo dumps. But I’ll talk about this more next week 😉

THIS is how it’s done. But there’s more you need to know👇🏻 1. Find any post on your grid you’d like to adjust and select the three dots on top of the post. 2. Select adjust preview And tap fit. 3. Now change the background to either white or black. Done. It’s as easy as that. However, THIS will not turn the format back to a square. It will still be a portrait. If you’re not already doing that, 🚨Start creating on a 1080 x 1350 format. Depending on your visual, make sure to leave space on the side before adding text to create a safe zone. For now, the new portrait grid feels like it is not a true 5 x 4 format . But who knows, maybe that’ll change again 😅✌🏻 I hope this helps. Here’s is the ultimate pro hack👇🏻 Once you organized everything into folders and albums, hide all the albums > go back to your recents > delete > unhide the albums This keeps your camera roll always clean and organized. However, make sure before you hit delete, you don’t delete anything you might still need or haven’t moved into a folder yet.
