On Monday, I foolishly entered into an agreement with two friends that we would avoid refined sugar and white carbs for the month of November. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, and already failed on both Tuesday and Wednesday. I already want to quit, but really want to lose A LOT of weight.

Please feel free to share any good refined-sugar free dessert recipes, because I want to make this work. But I'm struggling 😂😂

This week I got the opportunity to sell some sample products at our Marketplace! I was a nervous wreck but was so thankful to the love and support. A humble beginning for sure, but you have to start somewhere! Shout out to for snapping pics of my first sales and my little big guy Carter for helping me behind the booth (more like trying to take the money 😂).

My sister said my breakfast this morning look nasty. What y’all think?? I think she just an egg over easy hater 😂😂😂 And I had so much going on with the kids I overcooked my egg!! I like my yolk ruuuunnnnyyyyy not fried. How do you like your eggs???

Mr. Ed thoroughly approved if this morning’s smoothie. Copycat Chia Banana Boost recipe from
I’ve literally made this almost everyday for two weeks! It’s soooo good.
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup oats
1 roasted banana
2 Tbs shredded coconut
1 Tbs chia seeds
2 Tbs chopped almonds
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon #
2 Tbs peanut butter
2-3 pitted dates, chopped
1 1/4 cup ice
Maple syrup or honey to taste

Blend and enjoy. Feel free to use milk of your choice, or swap the peanut butter for some crunchy peanut butter or frozen/fresh fruit like strawberry.

The boys and I stopped by one of our favorite spots for donuts: Marge’s. Marge even gave Carter an extra donut which he gladly accepted. Thanks to the lovely Wilma for helping this mama walk our donuts to the car! 🥰 We stuffed our faces on the way home, but some of us get a little messier than others. Meanwhile, Chase was exhausted from watching us indulge 😂 Next stop, Metro Cruise!

Yesterday was amazing celebrating my baby sis getting married!!! It was so great to see so many friends and family. A night we won’t forget.

Today was a very special day. We closed on our first home. Beyond excited and grateful that God worked things out in our favor because there were so many obstacles along the way. Looking forward to creating new traditions and memories in our home and accomplishing even more. 🏡

Thanks to God for the two blessings he gave me who call me mommy. I’ve never been this tired in my life but I wouldn’t trade this role for anything in the world. Got your backs until the end of time! 😘😘😘

Never underestimate the emotional power of a stack of diapers. It’s an expecting mother’s joy. I walked into work and literally hugged this stack of Huggies for about 3 minutes and almost started crying (but I’m an O.G. and can’t get caught slipping 😂). Thanks work fam!!!!

My little guy had his first Valentine's Day date with his GiGi. He wasn't quite on his best behavior, so I'm not sure if he'll get a callback for date #2, but that's why I'm starting him early, so he'll know how to treat a lady one day. 😂🥰
