EVENT ALERT:

The annual North Star concert is an uplifting evening of positivity and hope through music and the arts. As the North Star is a symbol of guidance and hope, so the Lincoln Theatre Association’s North Star concert offers a beacon of light and life to our community.

The 2024 concert will feature dynamic gospel singer Tonya Baker who will be backed by longtime Columbus pianist/organist and bandleader Bobby Floyd. The concert will also include a set featuring Floyd joined by jazz singer Mary McClendon, vocal trio the Ladies of the Lincoln (Janeen Holmes, La'Toya Jones, Christina Myles), and Lincoln Incubation artist Joenathan Banks.

While musical styles come and go, there is a constant source of strength, courage, and wisdom when these foundational hallmarks merge on the same platform for an evening of divine musicality.

The film Anora is on fire this awards season, with lead star Mikey Madison recently receiving the Breakthrough Award at the 2024 SCAD Savannah Film Festival! 🏆✨

This captivating Neon film tells the story of a young s*x worker from Brooklyn who finds herself in a real-life Cinderella story when she marries the son of an oligarch. But as her fairytale takes a turn, her dreams hang in the balance when the parents set out for New York to annul the marriage.

Mikey Madison shares her journey and love for the s*x worker community while working on this impactful film.
