June 20 - June 22nd at 7:00 p.m.; June 23rd at 2:00 p.m.; June 27th - 29th at 7:00 p.m.

Pay Scale: $200 – $500 Stipend, non-equity

Auditions: Please bring a headshot and resume with you. Bring a 32-bar cut of a contemporary vocal piece to perform at auditions and be prepared to dance.

[COLUMBUS, OH] - The City of Columbus is now accepting nominations for the Shellabarger Illuminator Award to be presented at the annual City Hall Pride Illumination Ceremony. This award recognizes an individual within the Columbus Community who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting LGBTQ+ rights to create a more inclusive city.

Longtime Columbus activist Steve Shellabarger was integral in the creation of the Human Rights Campaign Columbus (HRC) chapter and influential in many other organizations like the Columbus AIDS Task Force (now Equitas Health) and Stonewall Columbus. He continually shares his unending energy, strong passion for justice, and gracious leadership with the Columbus LGBTQ+ community.



Nominees for the Shellabarger Illuminator Award must live in Central Ohio and must not have previously received the award. Past recipients include:



· 2016: Steve Shellabarger

· 2017: Linda Schuler and Gloria McCauley

· 2018: John Sherman Lathram-Brungs and Scott Schopper

· 2019: Nina West/Andrew Levitt

· 2020: Letha Pugh

· 2021: Erin Upchurch

· 2022: Siobhan Boyd-Nelson

· 2023: Chris Cozad
