To provide independent film services such as,
but not limited to:
- production
- distribution
- exhibition
- marketing
- importation
- exportation of film equipment and
fa
cilities and other similar activities. To provide training and education programs in
filmmaking aspects. To procure and sell goods and services for the
use of its members. If you are an independent filmmaker, or have worked in independent film (meaning a film that was not done as a school requirement) as an actor or production staff member, you are qualified to become a member of PIFC. Since we are in accordance with Philippine laws, you must first attend the Cooperative Pre-membership Education Seminar. You have to fill up the membership form (vouched by an IFC member), and pay a membership fee of Php1,000.00. And lastly, to avail of all the IFC services (such as acquiring loans as in other cooperatives), you must subscribe for a minimum of 5 shares at Php1,000.00/share, or Php 5,000.00, payable over a period of 1 year.
