Showtools is an online production tool for the New Zealand and Australian Screen industry.
There are three types of users: Production Companies, Crew and Rental Companies.
A Production Company creates a project and then books their crew and equipment online.
Assets get uploaded into Workbooks by heads of department etc. Scripts, storyboards, locations, art department and casting into workbooks for everyone booked on the production and with the right permissions to view.
Production can send SMS texts and email messages to everyone on the project.
Production Books, Daily Callsheets, Safety Callsheets and other documents are generated online and shared with everyone on the production.
Crew have an online profile which can be searched by Production Companies.
Their profile can include credits, CV, IMDB profile, showreel and other information to secure work.
Rental Companies list their equipment or services which can be searched by Production Companies.
Equipment profiles can include instructions, photos and other relevant information.
