MHM is proud to announce that our episode of TVNZ+’s Beyond the Veil: Albularyo is the national winner for Best Single Drama / Telemovie / Anthology Episode at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. The MHM team are looking forward to the Gala Finals in Singapore in December.

Beyond The Veil: Abularyo is screening on TVNZ 2 at 9.30pm TONIGHT Monday 28 March! For those in Aotearoa - grab some popcorn, turn off the lights and enjoy!

Albularyo follows a Kiwi-Filipino doctor who discovers that her deceased grandmother has become a manananggal, a corrupted witch, and she must face up to her troubled youth and make peace with her estranged brother before they both suffer the bloody consequences.

Beyond The Veil is six supernatural stories inspired by the Māori, Pasifika, Filipino, and Chinese people of Aotearoa. Made with the support of NZ On Air and Te Māngai Pāho.

We are grateful to have been a part of this awesome kaupapa and are looking forward to sharing our episode with Aotearoa.
