Rumors of disagreement between the army and Netanyahu

There have been reports of a rift between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the military. The disagreement is over a possible ground attack on the largely besieged Gaza Strip.

The Prime Minister's Office and the army said in a joint statement that they are working closely with the ground operation after the news was published in various Israeli media.

A report in The Times of Israel on Monday said the army and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a joint statement amid reports of disagreements over the delayed ground operation, demanded they work closely together.
A joint statement issued by Netanyahu's office, Defense Minister Yoav Galant's bureau and an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman said the prime minister, the defense minister and the IDF chief are working closely to bring about a complete victory for Israel against Hamas.

"There is complete trust between Prime Minister Netanyahu, the Defense Minister and the IDF Chief; who are united for a clear purpose," the statement added.

"We advise the media to act responsibly and refrain from publishing scandalous reports. Such activities of theirs only hurt our unity and strength.'

According to various Israeli media reports on Monday, Prime Minister Netanyahu is at loggerheads with Defense Minister Yoav Galant and IDF Chief Herzei Halevi over a possible ground attack on Gaza. The death toll from Israel's indiscriminate bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip has reached 5,087 in the more than two-week-long Hamas-Israel war.

Among them are more than 400 Palestinians killed by Israeli airstrikes in the last 24 hours.

This information was given in a statement by the Ministry of Health under the control of Hamas in Gaza on Monday.

Youths born before 1966 were often reminded not to steal government money by their leaders/parents. Ironically the leaders of these days encourage youths to inflate government contracts and stealing government funds.
It is not surprising to see youths in their twenties, thirties and forties owning billions in their bank accounts with no tangible work to show.
