MAKU 11:1-11
[1]NIGBATI nwọn si sunmọ eti Jerusalemu, leti Betfage ati Betani, li òke Olifi, o rán meji ninu awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀,
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
[2]O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ lọ si iletò ti o kọju si nyin: lojukanna bi ẹnyin ti nwọ̀ inu rẹ̀ lọ, ẹnyin ó si ri ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ kan ti a so, ti ẹnikẹni ko gùn rì; ẹ tú u, ki é si fà a wá.
And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a c**t tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
[3]Bi ẹnikẹni ba si wi fun nyin pe, Ẽṣe ti ẹnyin fi nṣe eyi? ẹ wipe, Oluwa ni fi ṣe; lojukanna yio si rán a wá sihinyi.
And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
[4]Nwọn si mu ọ̀na wọn pọ̀n, nwọn ri ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ na ti a so li ẹnu-ọ̀na lode ni ita gbangba; nwọn si tú u.
And they went their way, and found the c**t tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
[5]Awọn kan ninu awọn ti o duro nibẹ̀ wi fun wọn pe, Kili ẹnyin nṣe, ti ẹnyin fi ntú ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ nì?
And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the c**t?
[6]Nwọn si wi fun wọn gẹgẹ bi Jesu ti wi fun wọn: nwọn si jọwọ wọn lọwọ lọ.
And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
[7]Nwọn si fà ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ na tọ̀ Jesu wá, nwọn si tẹ́ aṣọ wọn si ẹ̀hin rẹ̀; on si joko lori rẹ̀.
And they brought the c**t to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
[8]Awọn pipọ si tẹ́ aṣọ wọn si ọ̀na: ati awọn miran ṣẹ́ ẹ̀ka igi, nwọn si fún wọn si ọ̀na.
And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
[9]Ati awọn ti nlọ niwaju, ati awọn ti mbọ̀ lẹhin, nkigbe wipe, Hosanna; Olubukun li ẹniti o mbọ̀wá li orukọ Oluwa:
And they that went before, and they that followed,
