Judging accounting awards can be taxing.
You can only imagine the hours that our Accounting Excellence judges have spent looking at the finer points of compliance as interpreted by the finest tax minds in the country.
When summarising the entries for this year’s awards, our judges noted that 2024 was equally about firms supporting their tax teams as it was about prioritising client care.
Our finalists are taking significant steps to address the health of their teams, offering additional training and automating the more mundane tasks related to client interaction and compliance. Demonstrating a commitment to retaining talent and fostering smarter, more satisfied teams that deliver outstanding client care.
Firms with clearly defined strategies and goals are those continuously striving to improve (stars)
There's so much more to this story, with other themes emerging across this year's overflowing entry box. However, one thing’s for sure. Compliance is only half the story in what is one of Accounting Excellence’s fastest-evolving categories. Our recommendation for anyone thinking of entering in 2025: get involved.
