h a cheeky bit of scratching stimulates every bit of your soul you want to be tickled when your stomping in the smoke-filled laser clad night club. Cutting his teeth on the wheels of steel in the early ’00s playing House and Trance saw Chewy quickly rise through the ranks of the Hard Dance scene in Bristol. Often playing sets for pre-Slinky Parties and Scream warm-up sessions. Following his first residency at Bar I, Chewy teamed up with Nick Dyson and the back to back force of euphoric mixology that is Dyson and Chewy was born. Launching their Hardcore career from the basement of Castros nightclub playing for Luna Tripp Dyson and Chewy took the Bristol Hardcore Scene by storm. They soon had their own event running bi-monthly. “The original THC” events brought together the best local talent and introduced talent from surrounding areas like Swindon and Cardiff. 3 floors of Hard dance with Hardcore at the epicenter THC always pulled the happy crowds. Dyson and Chewy soon cast their net further afield picking up a residency with Hysteria and touring the UK playing at some amazing venues. Often taking additional kit for their sets to perform 3 decks, 2 mixer turntablism. Chewy has played for some big names in the Scene and, as Dyson and Chewy, held residencies at several long-standing events such as Hysteria, Totaly ‘Ardcore and Adrenaline stompers.

a glimpse of what it looked like from our perspective looking out across a sea of lively ravers!!

Not fu***ng about when I say you lot were the most reactive, happiest @ intense crowd I have ever had the privilege to play to!

I literally feed off the crowd!

It’s symbiotic when I get into the flow and start vibing with the crowd, and to feel so peacefully comfortable next to Sy with you lot responding to ADGERs hosting and the track selection..

This is genuinely the most at home I’ve felt on a set, up there on that Stage, than I’ve felt in a long time 🫶

A LOT of that is down to YOU, the ravers, the stompers the hardcore karaoke orchestra of beautiful people that I get the privilege to share my utter LOVE for this music with 🥰🫶🥰

Thought I’d have a cheeky practice before tomorrow but apparently at some point this afternoon my hands were replaced with left feet and my ears are on vacation!

The only difficult thing for me about fasting!!! No milky coffee in the morning 😧 Already seeing some awesome results from it though!! It’s not for everybody, I totally get that but it’s all good in the hood for me at the moment 👌🫶

Finally found this masterpiece! I didn’t get it cause a meta of mine had it so I always played his at parties! Silly me!!! Arrived today! Sounds as sexy as the first day I heard it!! Been looking for this for so long! Nearly blew the doors off playing it just now 😂😂😂
