Meet Team Alpecin!
Meet the three Cycling Plus readers who'll be part of the multi-national Team Alpecin Cycling squad as they train for this year's L'Etape du Tour. Murray Cox, Laura Cook and Les Pegler entered the competition in the magazine late last year and are now at the start of a fantastic journey!
The Alpecin Cycling Etape du Tour Team, including Cycling Plus readers Les Pegler, Laura Cook and Murray Cox, are in Caldaro, Italy for a training camp. Just down the road in Onigo is the HQ of shoe maker Northwave who are providing the riders with Extreme RR road shoes. These are handmade in limited batches by a small team of craftsmen and the riders went to see their shoes being put together!
Always nice to see how the shoes you’re wearing are made! Here are some Northwave Extreme RRs coming to life!

Team Alpecin 2018 – the first team meeting…
For 2018 we've teamed up with Alpecin Cycling to give three lucky Cycling Plus readers the chance to get the full pro treatment as they train for L'Etape du Tour in July. Last weekend Murray Cox, Laura Cook and Les Pegler headed to Bielefeld in Germany to meet team-mates from Germany, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands, recieve their team kit, undertake fitness tests and get measured up for the Canyon Endurace bikes they'll be riding!
