I recently mixed a film which is available to everyone right now. ‘The Letter - A Message for our Earth’ is based around the “Laudato Si” letter written by The Pope and carries the important message that we should remember to care for each other and for the planet upon which we all live.

In 2015, Pope Francis wrote Laudato Si’ (The Letter); an encyclical letter about the environmental crisis to every single person in the world. A few years l...

Cornwall's Wildest Wave | Big Wave Productions

Big Wave surfer Tom Butler rides a monster Cornish wave. Virtual Post provided final post services with Red Six on this wonderful film. It's really magic!

Production Company: Big Wave TV
Colourist & Online: Philippa Beasley-Swanson
Re-recording Mixer: Andrew Wilson AMPS CAS
Post Producer: David Swanson

Cornwall's Wildest Wave - Our Lives. There are legends of monster waves off Cornwall's wild north coast, and world champion surfer Tom Butler is spending the winter searching for them. A deadly reef two miles off St Ives, known as The Stones, could deliver him 'the ultimate Cornish monster wave', but he needs wind and weather conditions to perfectly align. This documentary follows his efforts to realise his quest.

Cornwall’s Wildest Wave airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC 1

A lovely film we worked on is on tv tonight. Filmed over a year in The New Forest by the lovely people at Big Wave TV it’s a fabulous look at one of the prettiest places in the UK. Edited by Rhiannon Burton, a delightful score by David Mitcham, narration by Hugh Bonneville and sound editing from Owen Peters and Nic Allan - this was a joy to mix. It’s on the Smithsonian Channel tonight 8-9pm (in the UK that’s Freeview ch56 or Sky 171) so give it a look (and a listen) if you can.
