The Sri Lankan Sinhala Show was awarded as the best ethnic and multicultural radio program in Australia in 2017 at the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia award ceremony. Also awarded the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters' Council Award for Program of the Year 2012, 2013 and 2015 and the 3MDR most popular show award 2012.
