Little trip to Regency for an ID inspection today. This marks the end of a mammoth amount of work to get this car running well & all legalities checked.

Put it back to stock for the ID inspection but really we were only here because the date of manufacture was 10 year wrong & had to be fixed before it could go on historic rego. Was costing $130 extra a month between rego & insurance.

Street 32 Finally had some trouble free motoring.

Cars n Coffee Hahndorf, very thankful the heater works. Still lots to do but it's at least it drives decent now.

Washing out the front was a new experience. Can see the smoke from the fronts & not matching the travel direction in the photo. Ended up lowering front pressures & raising rears to stop the dirt farming. Things you still learn 11 years deep.

Cheers to Jason from for noticing the red bushes were past their prime while at AMF & getting me sorted with some solid replacement. The mounts are basically wrapped by exhaust so these should be much better suited to the crazy hot environment.

Actually easier getting parts for than I expected with even Nissan Australia having weird R32 specific clips.

Still nowhere compared to getting BMW parts though.

Got coops back from paint & now its time to get it back on the road.

Final day of Summernats. Been an exhausting & amazing experience filled with sweat, smokey, karaoke & hundreds of laps.

Huge thanks to Drift Cadet for putting on this event, it certainly a lot of logistics to integrate with an event of this size.

Also thanks to Joe as his been going hard making sure the car is ready & has tyres.

Took the E46 to Gawler & Districts Collage today to show Naomi's students & talk about drifting.

They loved it & few of them were already involved with motorsport. No drifting but did give it a bit of rev in the parking lot.

Crowd sourcing how to spray champagne & do a tip in burnout from the photographers while waiting to be interviewed was certainly an experience. Burnout went better than the champagne spraying, thats for sure.😂

Some of my best race track memories as a kid were collecting posters & interacting with drivers while they signed them.

A few months ago I got some of my own posters made with the goal of getting that interaction to our events.

On the weekend they proved a hit & was even caught out by not having a texta handy (thanks Brett). Was very cute to have the kids all excited by the posters & drifting.

Cobbled together a $60 water spraying kit from Marketplace & bunnings to extend tyre life.

Got us wondering why isn't everyone running these!?
