On Dit is full of campus news, non-fiction articles, student opinion columns, and illustrations. YouX as the publisher of On Dit magazine would like to apologise to the Adelaide Jewish community and students at the University of Adelaide for any hurt or harm that may have been caused by the publication of the online article ‘For Palestine, There is No Ceasefire’ by a former editor in August 2022.

YouX is aware that a number of students found the article distressing and after continuing discussions with some of those affected, we believe it is important that we acknowledge this and offer our apology. All students have a right to feel safe and included while attending our University and YouX is committed to maintaining this right.

Since the time of publication, YouX has taken all necessary steps to ensure greater oversight is in place over On Dit content, and editorial processes are improved. This work is ongoing, and we will continue working to ensure On Dit meets the standards expected by our student community.
