MIDRAND | | CRIMINALS CAUGHT WITH CLONED COP CAR

A cloned police bakkie was seized on Monday afternoon, 27 February 2023, in Midrand.

The bakkie, which was marked with SAPS insignia, sirens, and blue lights, was reportedly hijacked in December and has since been reportedly linked to a gang responsible for a spate of blue-light truck hijackings.

Two (2) suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and are due to appear in court soon.

One suspect was arrested for impersonating an officer and the other one for bribery as he came with a lumpsum cash to bribe the officers.

The suspects were apprehended by a joint operation led by SAPS Ekurhuleni Crime Intelligence, Rabie Ridge SAPS, and the Tembisa Tracing Team. The car model in question is a Mazda Bakkie BT50, and both the vehicle and suspects will spend the night at Rabie Ridge Police Station.

The cloned police vehicle even had a number plate similar to that of official SAPS vehicles, ending with "B" instead of "GP".

This is a worrying development, as it raises questions about how easily criminals can obtain police markings and use them to commit crimes.

The incident highlights the need for heightened security measures to prevent such crimes from occurring in the future. It is essential for law enforcement agencies to collaborate and work tirelessly to bring criminals to justice and to ensure the safety and security of citizens.

BOTLOKWA | | A learner from Turfloop has been stabbed at a local Motlalaohle High School, Botlokwa.

It is reported that he was stabbed for his own half cap. It is unfortunate the learner died.

Ga Semenya | | PROTEST TO RESUME TOMORROW ACCORDING TO OUR SOURCES.

It is reported that some of the learners at Nare Secondary School in Moletjie Ga Semenya, outside Polokwane were being shot with rubber bullets and some were arrested today amid the protest at the school.

Parents and learners are threatening to proceed with the protest tomorrow at the school. "We also tired as parents because of what is happening under the new Principal's watch, during Principal Mathato, there were no such things, why is this principal does not want learners who were collapsing to tell us what they saw?" says one of the parents.

Tebogo Kganyago, the chairperson of COSAS confirmed that some students were arrested today at Nare Secondary School. He further said that police were also wrong to arrest and shoot learners." They fail to arrest real criminals but instead shot and arrest students. Police cars comes in numbers when are such events", he added.

IVORY PARK | | TAXI BOSS MURDERED

A taxi boss was shot and killed at Kopanong Shopping Centre “Score” also known as “Ema 15 Taxi Rank” on Monday noon, 22 August 2022.

The deceased was a taxi boss and was shot fifteen (15) times at the busy shopping centre in broad daylight.

The Ivory Park SAPS suspect that the murder is taxi related.

The Shopping Centre was closed after the shooting and will reopen on Tuesday.

Four (4) suspects fled the scene in a Ford Focus with unknown registration number plate. No one has been arrested as yet.

Mpumalanga | | A 37 year-old mother has been arrested for dumping her newly born baby in the bushes next to a railway line in Dullstroom Mpumalanga.

A discovery has been made by someone who led the Police to the scene. The Police immediately contacted medical personnel who then took the baby to hospital. An investigation led the police to the mother of the baby boy who was then charged accordingly and she's expected to appear at the Belfast magistrate's court tomorrow.

Today, the 22nd of August 2022, over 30 learners at Masedibu High School in Seshego Zone 2 collapsed, and this led for the suspension of activities in the school.

BREAKING NEWS | | SESHEGO RESIDENTS ARE TAKING OUT UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS .

Several Seshego residents mobilised outside Seshego stadium ahead of taking out undocumented foreign national together with the legal ones who commit crimes.

Nhlanhla Lux who cames to join some of Seshego leaders while addressing outside Seshego stadium say today they will operate and secure the picture of their South Africans country because they have nowhere to go.

Lux told the law enforcement officers who were presence that they are not bunch of criminals who are bored.

He said they do not have a problem with foreigners but those who commit crimes are the ones who give them problems.

Seshego community have been exchanging songs and taking out foreigners from their respective zones.

One of the foreign nationals said they are chasing them away because they do not have passports. She said she's asking for a place too stay in extentions, outside the city of Polokwane because at the moment they got nowhere to sleep/stay.

A teacher from Phomolong Secondary School in Tembisa, Gauteng, was shot and killed yesterday, 21 January 2022, by a learner who failed matric examinations. The teacher was shot 5 times outside the school premises.
