NEW BORN BABY FOUND MURDERED AND DUMPED AT A DOOSTEP IN GA - MASHABELA

GA - MASHABELA : The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has ordered immediate probe into the brutal murder of a newborn child whose body was dumped at a certain house in Ga-Mashabela village under the Makhuduthamaga Municipality on Thursday.

According to the reports, the members of this family woke up only to find the body of a new born baby wrapped in plastic bag on their doorstep.

The Police were immediately summoned and upon arrival they started with initial investigations.

It is believed that the baby girl who is about a day old was strangled before she was put inside the bag.

It was also found that the body was already at decomposition stage.The mother of the child has not yet been identified.

Police have opened a case of murder and the circumstances surrounding the incident will be determined by ongoing investigations.

NOBODY: The family of Rapau has confirmed to Polokwane Weekly that Kedisi Mosebjadi has returned home.

This publication reported that Rapau has been missing for more than a week.

The 32 - year old from Nobody Thakgalang disappeared without trace on Wednesday last week and her cellphone has been off ever since.

The family says Mosebjadi returned home on Saturday.

Asked on her whereabouts, she said that she wanted some time alone hence she left home.

The family has thanked the public in assisting.

JUST IN | VIGILANTE GROUP BEATS UP SUSPECTED UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS FOR STEALING A CAR AT MOLETJIE

MOLETJI- Three suspected illegal Zimbabweans were found lying motionless and beaten up on the side of the road at Mokgodu Moletji.

The suspects were found in possession of a BMW that was stolen in the area.

They were caught by the community and beaten up and handed over to the police.

CONNY'S BOYFRIEND ARRESTED AFTER POLICE FOUND BLOOD STAINS AT HIS KITCHEN

BURGERSFORT : Two suspects aged 28 and 47 have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 36 year-old woman who was reported missing last week on 09 September 2022 in Burgersfort policing precinct.

The deceased Conny Sekhukhune, a Financial Clerk at Ga-Kgoshigadi Malepe Tribal office and was residing at Ga-Mashishi village when she went missing while at Burgersfort Central Business District (CBD).

The family reported the matter to the police and a missing case was immediately opened.

This comes after the family suspected that the boyfriend might be involved in her disappearance because there was a protection order issued against him before the couple separated for a period of six months.

The police conducted a search for the victim at the boyfriend's house but she was not found and subsequently discovered some blood stains on the floor of the kitchen.

The Provincial Forensic Crime Scene Management unit were summoned at the scene to conduct forensic analysis and investigations.

On Wednesday 14 September 2022 at approximately 13.00, police received a complaint from a member of the community about a lifeless body of a woman which was found dumped at the bushes along R555 public road next to Thaba Moshate Hotel.

The deceased was positively identified by a family member at the scene.

Police immediately commenced with the investigations which led to an arrest of the driver of a maxi-taxi who transported the deceased from her boyfriend's house.

A manhunt of the boyfriend continued and he was ultimately found and arrested with visible injuries sustained after he was severely assaulted by unknown individuals.

Kedisi Mosebjadi Rapau has been missing for more than a week.

The 32 - year old from Nobody Thakgalang disappeared without trace on Wednesday last week and her cellphone has been off ever since.

The family says they have contacted everyone that they thought she could have gone to but with no luck.

SIX PEOPLE DIE FOLLOWING A HEAD ON COLLISION IN WATERKUIL

WATERKUIL : SIx people were confirmed deceased following a head on collision between a bakkie and sedan in Waterkuil in the Blouberg Municipality on Friday night.

Six passengers aged between 20 and 40 years were also sadly confirmed dead.

Two people who sustained injuries were transported to nearby health facilities for medical attention.

Driver fatigue is suspected as possible cause of this accident .

TWO ELDERLY PEOPLE DIE FOLLOWING A HEAD ON COLLISION

POLOKWANE :Two passengers, both aged 68 died on the N1 - 25 in the Waterberg District on Friday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 14h25 on route N1-25 in Waterberg District, where the driver of a light motor vehicle is suspected to have lost control and collided head on with a heavy motor vehicle.

The driver of the light motor vehicle sustained injuries.

Reckless driving was cited as possible cause of the accident .

N2 HORROR ACCIDENT DEATH TOLL RISES TO 21

PONGOLA : The death toll in the horror crash on the N2 road in Pongola in KwaZulu-Natal has risen to 21.

This comes after a truck collided head on with a bakkie on the N2 road this afternoon.

19 of the deceased are children between the age of 5 and 12.

TWO FOREIGN BUSINESSMEN ARRESTED FOR UNLAWFULLY OPERATING GAS CYLINDER PLANT

MOKOPANE – Two Mokopane businessmen aged 32 and 39 have been arrested for operating unlawful gas cylinder plant in Mokopane on Friday, 16 September 2022.

The suspects were arrested during a multidisciplinary sting operation comprising the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Mokopane Bomb Disposal, Local Criminal Record Center, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, Department of Environmental Affairs, Mogalakwena Fire and Rescue and Royal Square (Brand representatives).

In the beginning of this year, information was received about a plant in Mokopane that was refilling and selling gas cylinders without being authorized. Since then, the plant has been on police radar.

During the operation, the team seized a large number of gas cylinders bearing different brands with the estimated value of R350 000-00.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Mokopane Magistrate's Court on Monday, 19 September 2022 to face charges relating to fraud, theft, contravention of the General Law Amendment Act and Pressure Equipment Regulations.
