Reasons to Not Believe in Hell
I’ll be honest, I used to be terrified of hell. I had a near death experience a few years ago that I share about in this episode. It brought all of those fears right back, even though I technically no longer believed in hell. Would that happen to you too?
Most of my ministry when I was a pastor was focused on keeping people out of hell. We risked our lives in dangerous situations because we believed we were saving people that might be JUST about to slip into hell.
Maybe the fear of hell still sits with you too. Maybe friends or family are “concerned” about you since you’ve started to “drift”… they pray for you because they don’t want you to go to hell.
In this episode, Shelby and I share personal stories and talk about our reasons for no longer believing in hell. As a bible scholar, Shelby is able to show why the Bible is being misused.
