Hello my friends, I will be teaching a 10 week class in the deeply nourishing Xuan Wu Gong (Mystical Warrior Qigong) form starting a week from tomorrow. This is a meditative movement practice that nourishes the kidneys and strengthens the root of our life through the winter and early spring months.

Beginners are always welcome, drop in or sign up for the course. I hope you can join me for practice this winter!

The solstice approaches on little cat's feet ~

You are all invited to join me a week from tonight from 6:45 - 8pm PST for a free online Winter Solstice Qigong Meditation.

We will practice gentle 3 Sources Qigong to shake out our stagnation and connect, then sit down to welcome the 7:27pm PST solstice arrival with a traditional Daoist candle gazing meditation. In the darkest hour, we foster the returning Yang Qi as a gentle flame in the belly. No experience needed.

Hi fellow human. Give thanks. The Dao is simple and love seems to be the reason we are here. Love of self, emanating from Xu {emptiness} into all the body cells and fluids. Like a fountain, overflowing into family, community and world. Birth and death may be illusions, but life is precious. Keep each day whole and complete and live graceful and grateful.

Accompanied by his celtic harp, Ryan first tells the tale of Finn MacCumhail and the Salmon of Knowledge wherein young Finn is apprenticed to an old poet fisherman and ends up with much more than he bargained for. The second tale told here is Finn and the Burner of Tara, a good Samhain tale with a surprising 'point' at the end.
