Something cool for your Monday 😎

The thumbnail for our first music video, PARTY by , was recently used from a Google search by someone for a song called “Stop Making Me Cry” and has been getting all kinds of attention. Visit their YouTube to check it out!

Apparently he did a Google search for people roller skating in front of a pink background and screenshotted the first image that came up.

We are honored that this happened. And love when we get to witness the influences of our art and the ways in which it creates a life of its own.

LaKesha Glover is a multi-talented actress with a passion for storytelling that spans across stage, film, and television. In her recent stage endeavors, LaKesha garnered acclaim for her role in The St. Louis Black Repertory Theater’s production of ‘Dontrell Who Kissed the Sea. Her stage repertoire includes notable performances in productions such as ‘Seven Guitars’ with the Saint Louis Black Repertory Theater, ‘String’ with The No Dream Deferred, and ‘Small Craft Warning’ with the Tennessee Williams Theater Company, among others.In addition to her acting endeavors, LaKesha is the founder of Tootsie’s Production, a production company dedicated to bringing compelling stories to life. Under her leadership, Tootsie’s Production recently completed filming on the pilot episode of ‘Rosebud.

It’s wild that we have so many small wins happening in our lives everyday yet we don’t often give them the same recognition as we do the big wins…

Multi-Hyphenate Mondays is right around the corner & we are honoring PRESENT-day Black History ALL month at !

We are honored to have .dunne as our featured artist 🤍

Owen H. Dunne (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist who always strives to explore the in-between moments in life. OHD started off on stage and in front of the camera, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. Over the years, OHD has made several appearances in film festival selections. While OHD enjoyed being the brush others painted with, they desired to be the painter, and so, went back to school for their MFA at Columbia College Chicago in Directing for Cinema. OHD is currently working on their thesis film “Don’t Call Me Daddy”.

Come to the Twilight Room at 8pm on Monday, Feb 5th & see which talent OHD is bringing to the stage 🤹🏽‍♀️

Last night’s Multi-Hyphenate Mondays show was M.A.G.I.C! Our featured guests stepped out of their comfort-zones and performed talents that are less-known to the general public:

1️⃣ Laveau Contraire gifted us with BARS! She rapped AND SANG on her original song that was musically produced by her! What can’t she do?!

2️⃣ Anna Moss dipped her toes in performing her first ever stand-up comedy set! It was well received by our audience, which included local comedians! You crushed it, Anna!

Last Spring, right before we officially announced TTM, we had the privilege of producing No Dream Deferred's inaugural WE WILL DREAM: New Works Festival on Bayou Rd! For three months, we produced over forty virtual productions for festival-goers across the world. It was the renaissance of Black theatre in New Orleans and we are forever grateful that No Dream Deferred reached out to us to be a part of such a memorable moment in history. WE WILL DREAM FEST returns in 2025!
