Our wonderful interview coordinators had the opportunity this past week to interview Roman Harper of the New Orleans Saints! Roman Harper was captain of the Saints when they won Super Bowl XLIV in 2010. Here Harper gives advice on how to achieve goals and provides sentiments for young athletes on how to become the best player they can be.

Everyone wish our beloved WTUL a happy 65th birthday!

On this date in 1959, a bunch of people gathered with some engineering students who wanted to start a radio station and hosted a test broadcast of what would become WTUL. The test broadcast originated from Irby Hall and was aired on 645AM with station letters W### (later to be WAVE, and finally to be WTUL).

The street team is back!! Recently members of WTUL’s (new!) street team set out all over NOLA to spread the good word of WTUL. They divided and conquered in teams of two, pinning up fliers all around town to show the new fall DJ schedule. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this happening! We’re so happy to have the beloved street team back up and running.
