It was completed in 1850 and stands on the site of two earlier churches, the first of which was built in 1727. The cathedral is located in the historic French Quarter, facing Jackson Square. It’s known for its stunning Gothic Revival architecture, characterized by its three spires, soaring ceilings, and intricate stained glass windows. 💒 It’s one of the most photographed and visited landmarks in New Orleans. Visitors can tour the cathedral and attend mass.
