The first Black female U.S. Air Force pilot — and later United Airlines captain with some 23,000 career flight hours — has retired after 43 years of flying!

Pioneering aviator Captain Theresa M. Claiborne landed at New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport and marked her retirement after more than three decades with the air carrier. ✈️

Who knew Flavor Flav was a “Swiftie?” Not only is he a fan of Taylor Swift and her music but he has given himself a new name and calls himself “King Swiftie.”

Flavor Flav who is known for his yells of “Yeah, boyeeeeeee!” and Chuck D, make up the rap group known as Public Enemy. Public Enemy has earned six Grammy Award nominations and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to Ashanti and Nelly. It’s confirmed that they are excited and expecting a child together. While parenthood isn’t new to Nelly at age 49, this will be Ashanti’s first child at age 43. The news was confirmed at Nelly’s Black and White Ball, hosted at The Four Seasons in st. Louis on yesterday.

Packers QB Jordan Love nominated for FedEx Air Player of the week following Sunday's win over the Chargers. Green Bay Packers took the win over Los Angeles Chargers 23-20. Love made 27 of 40 passes, reaching his career high of 322 yards and two touchdowns(108.5 passer rating). What's impressive is the Loves passing yards were the most yards passed since Aaron Rodgers registered 341 yards playing Chicago Bears on December 12, 2021.

Wide receiver Jayden Reed has been nominated, the second week in a row, for NFL Rookie of the week. Reed caught all five of his targets for 84 yards and a touchdown against Pittsburgh, which notably earned the nomination for NFL Rookie of Week 10. Stay tuned for the outcome of fans’ votes.

Seems the 16-time Grammy winner Adele, has tied the knot with her boyfriend of two years, Rich Paul. We’re not exactly sure when they said they’re nuptials as it was revealed in an unusual way. The couple had attended Alan Carr’s comedy show last Saturday in Los Angeles. Carr is Adele’s longtime friend. At a point in Carr’s routine he asked if anyone had recently gotten married, and Adele shouted, “I did.” While this is not Adele’s first marriage we wish you a lifetime of happiness and love. Cheers to you both 🥂🥂

Apparently this “Bad Boy” music mogul just can’t stay out the hot seat. The artist formerly known as “ Diddy,” now calls himself “Love” aka Brother Love and gets a ticket while live streaming Instagram in Miami on September 29, 2023. He was driving a luxury golf cart while with his friend DJ Khaled, bumping the song “What’s Love,” from his latest “Love Album.”

Who could ever forget Kyle Barker (TC Carson) and Maxine Shaw (Erika Alexander) of the hit sitcom “Living Single” ? Well we sure didn’t, they have been friends on the screen and off the screen for over 25 years. These two just celebrated their birthdays and Erika just turned 54 and TC turned 65 respectively on November 19th. We love you and celebrate you 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥂🥂🥂🥂

Atlanta, rapper, T.I., (Clifford Harris) and his wife Tiny, (Tameka Diane Cottle-Harris) famously known of her role in the R&B vocal group Xscape have opened their first affordable housing complex in Atlanta, Georgia. The project is made up of 143 units with an additional 25 units dedicated for homeless youth. T.I., has deeply rooted ties to the community, and the area is said it to be where his grandmother used to get her groceries from. This is such a wonderful way to give back to the community at such a time when it’s needed the most. Congratulations T.I. And Tiny, this is what black excellence looks like.

Maybe he can act right since he got her back???!!! Ashanti and Nelly met in 2003 amidst the Grammy award nominations announcements at VH1’s Behind the Music special. Their relationship was rumored to had started in 2005 as the “Foolish” singer said “she went out” with Nelly. While their relationship or lack there of was kept cool, on December 14, 2010, Nelly insisted they were just friends as he wasn’t ready for marriage.

Fast forward to June of 2013, amidst break-up rumors, Ashanti says she and Nelly are “cool.” It would take until 2015 for Ashanti to confirm the couples break-up status. The couple surprisingly reunited at the 2021, Ja Rule/Fat Joe Verzuz battle. It was a surprise to the couple as neither one had known of each other’s plan to be in attendance.

In December 2022, the pair reunited and sang the 2008 hit song “Body On Me” during the Power 98.3 and 96.1’s concert in Arizona. Since then they say they’re cool but have been spotted on the red carpet again June, 9 2023, for the 3rd Annual Birthday Ball for Quality Control CEO Pierre "P" Thomas at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta. It will take until September for this couple to confirm their relationship and we couldn’t be more happy.
