I’ve been lacking motivation to run lately but got myself out the door over lunch today to get some miles in. It felt so great to be out in the fresh air that I want to bottle the feeling up to use as motivation the next time I feel like skipping out!

What trick do you use in days you aren’t motivated to run?

First 2025 miles 🎉

Chilly but at least the sun was out to warm things up a tad. Thrilled to finally get to wear hats again. This one is from - I love the cute graphic!

This will likely be my last run in 2024 so I used these miles to remember everything that happened this year. My conclusion is that I have a lot to be thankful for - overall 2024 was a good year 🎉

As for 2025 - I’ll take it a day at a time. I won’t be afraid or anxious about the unknown. Instead, my energy will remain focused on the good and doing things to help where I can.

Keep moving forward ❤️

Today is my idea of a gorgeous day ❄️☀️ Fresh snow on the ground and sun in the sky made these miles perfect. I was even okay with a few wind gusts - they made it seem like the trees were tossing snowballs at me as the wind blew down chunks of snow. Hoping this snow sticks around for a white Christmas!

After looking at my weather app, I knew a downpour was coming. So I ran a little faster to miss the worst of it 🏃🏻‍♀️ What are your thoughts on running in the rain? Love it, hate it, somewhere in between?

I don’t mind getting wet but I don’t love looking like a drowned rat for the rest of the work day 😜

I’ve been under the weather since Saturday and am finally getting back into my normal routine. Still took it easy today and walked these miles. Hopefully tomorrow will be a run! 🤞🏻

It’s currently 79 degrees - in Wisconsin at the end of October. Feels like July. Can this weather be traded in for snow? ❄️❄️❄️
