A contingent of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) has arrived in Pakistan for joint military exercises with the Pakistan Army
The exercises are aimed at further promoting the existing military cooperation between the two countries.
The two forces will conduct joint exercises at Okara Garrison and Khairpur Tamewali
The joint exercises will continue for 45 days.

MESSAGE OF CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF ADMIRAL NAVEED ASHRAF ON EXERCISE BARRACUDA - XII

Oceans play a vital role in providing sustenance, livelihoods, regulating climate patterns and nurturing unparalleled biodiversity. As a responsible member of global maritime fraternity, Pakistan has fostered collaboration with regional countries and engaged in global partnerships to safeguard marine conservation initiatives. As part of its commitment to international maritime regulatory framework, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMS), being sole maritime law enforcement agency in the country ensures safety of life at sea and preserves nation's marine resources. Pakistan Navy being the premier stakeholder of national maritime defence extends all out support to PMSA and augments Maritime Domain Awareness for preservation of sea-based resources and enduring ecological balance.

In the mix of contemporary maritime challenges, environmental complexities have added another layer to maritime security. These challenges not only jeopardize marine biodiversity but also have cascading effects on global climate patterns and livelihood of coastal communities. Among these environmental challenges, the looming specter of oil spills pose a critical concern and necessitate coordinated response by international and national stakeholders. In pursuit of these objectives, Pakistan Navy & PMSA have embarked on conducting international series of exercises code named 'BARRACUDA' under the overall ambit of National Marine Disaster Contingency Plan. The aim of these exercises is to crystallize national response mechanism against oil spill disasters and contingent SAR requirements in collaboration with international partners.

Exercise BARRACUDA-XII will provide opportunity to review and align our response procedures to attain shared objective of pristine marine environment and safety of life at sea. The Exercise will also provide a forum in the shape of maritime seminar to deliberate on contemporary technological advancements and global best practices in the field of marine pollution control. The Exercise is set to reaffirm our national resolve and acknowledge the importance of oceans in our collective wellbeing and the need to protect and preserve them for our future generations.

I am sure PMSA through Exercise BARRACUDA-XII will afford a valuable platform for the participants to exchange best practices, share experiences and learn from each other. The conduct of Exercise is a testament to our unwavering commitment and cooperation for enhancing maritime security, stream line SAR procedures and preserve marine environment in the North Arabian Sea. I wish PMSA and international/ national participants a worthy and rewarding outcome of the Exercise and a pleasant stay at Karachi.

General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) presided over the two days long 261st Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) held at GHQ, today.
Forum paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Shuhadas including officers and men of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies and Citizens who laid their lives for ensuring peace and stability in the country. Participants also offered Fateha for the Shuhadas including those of DI Khan attack.
Forum reiterated Pakistan Army's resolve to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan against direct and indirect threats.
Forum expressed serious concern over continued repression and reprehensible human rights violations by Indian military forces in IIOJK. The recent acts of abduction, torture and killing of civilians by the Indian Army were unequivocally condemned by the participants. Such acts constitute grave crimes against humanity and cannot dampen the spirit of the brave Kashmiris who are struggling for their lawful right of self- determination. Pakistan would keep supporting its Kashmiri brethren with all political, moral and diplomatic support for resolution of Kashmir issue according to international law and relevant UNSC resolutions.
Forum was briefed on prevalent geo-strategic environment, challenges to national security and own strategy in response to evolving threat. The sanctuaries and liberty of action available to the terrorists of proscribed TTP and other groups of that ilk in a neighboring country and availability of latest weapons to the terrorists were noted as serious points of concern impacting security of Pakistan.
Forum resolved that all terrorists, their facilitators and abettors, working on the behest of hostile forces to destablise Pakistan will be dealt with full might of the state.
The forum expressed full solidarity with the people of Palestine and condemned serious human rights violations and war crimes being perpetrated in Gaza while reiterating Government’s stance of demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and peaceful resolution of the ongoing conflict.
Forum reiterated its support for ongoing efforts to promote socioeconomic growth and encouraging foreign investment under the umbrella of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Forum also took holistic review of the ongoing actions being taken against smuggling, money laundering, power theft and hoarding of essential items amongst other illegal economic activities. Pakistan Army will continue to provide all out support to relevant government institutions and LEAs to curb such crimes. The Forum also noted that requisite and necessary support will also be extended to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for forthcoming general elections.
The forum was briefed on operational preparedness of the formations. COAS stressed the need for continuously maintaining operational excellence in cognitive and physical realms and pursuit of high standards of motivation and training.

انڈونیشیا کی آزادی میں محمد علی جناح کا کردار ۔
قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح نے انڈونیشیا کی جنگ آزادی میں برٹش آرمی کی طرف سے انڈونیشیا کے خلاف لڑنے والے مسلمان فوجیوں کو ہدایت دی تھی کہہ برٹش آرمی کی لشکر سے نکل کر اپنے مسلمان انڈونیشیا کے جنگجو مجاہدو کے ساتھ شامل ہوجاو ۔
قاعد اعظم محمد علی جناح کے اعلان کے بعد تمام مسلمان فوجیوں نے برٹش آرمی سے دستبردار ہوکر مجاہدین کے لشکر میں شامل ہوگئے اور یوں انڈونیشیا نے جنگ جیت کر آزادی حاصل کی یہ تمام فوجی آج بھی انڈونیشیا اور پاکستان کے مشترکہ ہیرو ہیں۔
قائد اعظم کی اس لازوال کوشش سے متاثر ہوکر انڈونیشیا نے آزادی کے بعد قائد اعظم کو اپنے سول ایوارڈ ADI-PURA سے نوازا ۔

A huge victory in the war against terrorism for Pakistan’s premier Intelligence agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) under the Command of Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum (DG ISI), in Balochistan
Banned BNA leader Sarfraz Bangulzai has surrendered to the state along with 70 of his associates, not only has he disassociated himself from BNA but shown complete remorse from Baloch extremism. Our intelligence agencies continue to work day and night to bring peace and stability all across Pakistan.
Congratulations to all our Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) who worked tirelessly in making this mission a success.

General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), COAS engaged in a candid discourse with members of prominent US think tanks and media.
COAS, during the interaction, put across Pakistan’s perspective on regional security, transnational terrorism and importance of maintaining strategic stability in South Asia.
COAS said that Pakistan is a country of consequence both from geopolitical and geoeconomic perspective and wishes to develop itself as a hub of connectivity and a gateway to Central Asia and beyond, however, eschews Bloc Politics and believes in maintaining balanced relationships with all friendly countries.
COAS highlighted that Pakistan desires to broaden bilateral engagement with the U.S through long term multi domain partnership. He highlighted that his interactions during the visit to the U.S with Political and Military leadership have been very positive and forward looking for further strengthening the relationship.
COAS also highlighted that Pakistan has stood as a bulwark against transnational terrorism for decades for ensuring regional stability and global peace and security. It has made unparalleled contributions and sacrifices in its enduring fight against terrorism and will continue to fight till logical end, in line with the aspirations of people Pakistan.
COAS also stressed upon the need for resolution of Kashmir Issue as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir and the UNSC Resolutions. He said, “Kashmir is an internationally accepted dispute and no unilateral action can alter the nature of this dispute against the wishes of millions of people of the area.” COAS also emphatically highlighted the immediate need for ending the sufferings in Ghaza, provision of humanitarian assistance and implementation of two state solution for enduring peace in the region.
Earlier on arrival, COAS was received by the Ambassador of Pakistan to US.

During his visit, CJCSC called on Major General Yousef Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to Jordan. Ambassador to Jordan Major General Muhammad Ajmal Iqbal (R) accompanied CJCSC during the meeting.

General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), COAS called on General Michael Erik Kurilla, Commander United States Central Command during visit to Headquarters Central Command at Tampa Bay, Florida.
During the meeting, matters of shared interests, particularly cooperation in regional security matters came under discussion. Both sides discussed avenues of joint training and reiterated the need for enhancing training interactions between CENTCOM and Pakistan Army. COAS also visited CENTCOM Joint Operations Center during the visit.

General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) represents Pakistan. General (R) Raheel Sharif was present during the meeting.
The ‘Chiefs of Staff’ from member states were given a detailed briefing on actions and efforts across the counterterrorism domains.
