MITING DE AVANCE FOR THE UPPhA SC and 45TH USC ELECTIONS

Good Day, UPCP Student Body!

The Miting De Avance for the UPPhA SC and 45th UPM USC General Elections is being held RIGHT NOW, July 13, 2:00 - 5:00 PM.

The candidates for the respective Councils will explain about their plans of action, as well as their stances on their different issues. They will be also answering questions from the student body.

UPCP Delegates finish as 2nd runner up, quarterfinalist in National Pharmacy Debate 2024

University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) Team 1 placed 2nd runner up while UPM Team 2 ended their run in the quarterfinals in the recently concluded National Pharmacy Debate 2024 held last May 10-11, 2024, hosted by the Federation of Junior Chapters of the Philippine Pharmacists Association through Zoom.

UPM Team 1 consists of Baroness Maria De Leña, Karmina Gabrielle Reyes, and Ricci Abigail Petisme while UPM Team 2 is represented by Hannah Angelica Alcasid, Julea Onida, and Yasmine Lucman, guided by Coach Mac Ardy J. Gloria, RPh, MPH, PhD.

De Leña and Reyes of UPM Team 1 were also among the Best Speakers (tied with 300 speaks) while Alcasid and Onida of UPM Team 2 qualified for Best Speakers (tied with 299 speaks).

University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) Teams 1 and 2 claimed the National Pharmacy Debate 2024 championship and 1st runner up, respectively.

𝗨𝗣 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝟮𝗳 𝗟𝗦 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰

Emerging from years of virtual confinement due to the pandemic, the University of the Philippines Sandigan (UP Sandigan) unveils the return of its face-to-face Leadership Summit.

The event is set to take place at the Emilio T. Yap Auditorium of UP Manila College of Pharmacy on May 4.

Themed “From the Ground Up: Empowering Communities through Grassroot Leadership,” the event aims to ignite movement toward a more equitable, resilient and empowered community motivated by bottom-up leadership and collaboration.

With renowned representatives from different labor groups, discussions will revolve around youth development and strengthening, labor rights and economic empowerment, as well as on equity and social justice.

Leadership Summit is an annual project initiated by UP Sandigan in 2013 with the goal of equipping youth leaders by exploring various facets of leadership.

This year’s summit registration started on April 16 offering a total of 300 slots for interested participants.

FINAL VICTOR: DISTRICT 11 EMERGES AS THE OVERALL CHAMPION FOR BULAGAAN 2024

District 11 (Batch 2020) contender Agriana Grande won the as the Champion of Bulagaan 2024. The Batch 2020 has also won as the Overall Batch Winner for this Bulagaan cycle.

District 11 (Batch 2020) and District 6 (Batch 2021) and Districts 5 (Batch 2022) will advance through the Pharmacopia. District 4 (Batch 2023) lost in the Lip Sync round and eliminated in the competition.

District 11 (Batch 2020) and District 6 (Batch 2021) are safe from the 1st Elimination. Currently, Districts 5 (Batch 2022) and 4 (Batch 2023) are fighting for their stay in the contest through Lip Sync battle of the song "Kapag Tumibok ang Puso" by Donna Cruz.

BREAKING: The University of the Philippines Manila - College of Pharmacy posts a 100% passing rate again in the recently concluded April 2024 Pharmacists Licensure Examination, having 29 out of 29 graduates pass the examination.

Anthony Tocayon clinched the Top 2 spot with a 92.50% rating among the 1,185 passers.

After a whole day of fun, games, and friendly competition, the Water Tribe comes out on top in Pharmalympics 2024, earning a total of 14,775 points across all events. They are followed by the Fire Nation with 12,025 points, and the Earth Kingdom with 10,900 points.
