UST denies NU sweep to forge decider in UAAP women's basketball
The defending champions UST Growling Tigresses denied the NU Lady Bulldogs of a UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament sweep, scoring a 76-68 win in Game Two of the Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Dec. 11, 2024 to force a decider. Brigette Santos dropped a career-best 27 points and dished out four assists to lead the Growling Tigresses, who got off to a 24-9 start and hit timely baskets down the stretch to hand the Lady Bulldogs their first loss of the season.

La Salle's Quiambao bags second MVP award
La Salle's Kevin Quiambao bagged his second straight MVP award in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament in Game 2 of the men's basketball tournament. The top individual plum for the season was given to Quiambao on Dec 11, 2024 at the Mall of Asia Arena before his Green Archers face the UP Fighting Maroons. Completing the Mythical Team are La Salle's Mike Phillips, UP's JD Cagulangan, Mo Konateh, and Nic Cabañero.

Sara writes to NBI instead of personal appearance on lawyer's advise
