Kay Cepada notched 13 points, 11 digs, and eight receptions for the Lady Warriors who stayed winless at 0-9.

PCG holds forum on maritime security for students

House prosecution team seeks Senate response to Sara summons
Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro, one of the members of the House of Representatives' Prosecution Team, said that they would wait for the order from the Senate regarding its position on the summons to Vice President Sara Duterte to answer the charges against her. Senate President Chiz Escudero said on March 26, 2025 that he would not accept the summons issued by the House prosecutors as the impeachment court has yet to be convened.

More humane prison to rise in Cebu
A modern municipal jail aimed at providing a more humane and rehabilitative environment for persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) will soon be built in Barangay Panas, Consolacion town, northern Cebu. On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Mayor Teresa Alegado led the groundbreaking ceremony alongside officials from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), marking the start of the facility’s construction. The facility is located 13 kilometers away from the highway.

Central Visayas unaffected by transport strike
The ongoing national transport strike, led by Manibela, has not disrupted operations in Central Visayas on March 25, 2025, says Edwin Antepuesto, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Central Visayas acting chief transportation development officer. He said that although the Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide Cebu, a local chapter of the national transport group joined the strike, public transportation remained unaffected. Authorities have also prepared contingency measures, including deploying buses if necessary.
