This week just gone I have celebrated 20 years of being involved with Wellington Access Radio.The first 2 years from 2003-2005 I used to host a show called "Terry's Retro Show" based on 80's music from all genres of the decade and from 2005 to this present day,I'm hosting my songwriters show showcasing unknown artists and I'm happy to say that the show is still going strong!

Georgina Beyer 1957-2023

Rainbow Labour share in the heartbreak at the loss of Georgina Beyer, and send our aroha to her whānau and loved ones. As has been said before, and will continue to be said forever, she was a trailblazer in the rainbow community in Aotearoa and across the world.

A personal hero to many, Georgina was a true warrior with a unique sense of humour and a passion for giving back to her communities. She broke barriers before anybody thought it was possible. She was strong willed and backed herself at every moment in her life.

We could all learn something from Georgina. She will be incredibly missed.

Hey all...

Here’s me 15 years ago when I received my award for my category in the NZ Radio Awards back in 2007 for my Songwriters Show on Wellington Access Radio.
This was taken up in Sky City Convention Center,Auckland at the height of my successful radio show in it’s early years when I first started it in April 2005.
17 years later.my show is still going strong and I hope to reach the twentieth anniversary of my program on Wellington Access Radio which is now on 106.1FM in a few years time.
Special thanks to the crew of that station over the years whom I worked with and to all the songwriters I showcased over the years.
