Choose your circle wisely!

There's no arrogance in taking your time to select the right circle that aligns with your aspirations and goals.

Let's be honest, some people speak as if they're going nowhere. They're full of wishes but haven't taken any action. They've never initiated anything in their lives, let alone experienced failure.

Ask them about their vision for the next 5 to 10 years, and you'll be surprised by their lack of planning. They simply drift through life, without purpose or direction.

Even in their current endeavors, they stick to the same routine, comfortable with mediocrity. They're stagnant, circling the same spot without progress.

As someone wisely said, "When you have a million-dollar vision, don't surround yourself with those who think in pennies."

Be deliberate in leaving any circle that doesn't inspire you to contemplate your life, purpose, success, and failures daily.

Don't settle for a circle that doesn't motivate you to strive for greatness in life.

Seek out a circle that challenges you to become the best version of yourself.

As a person, you have countless advantages. But if your circle is holding you back from progress, it's time to make a change.

It's not about pride; it's about intentional living.

UbongAbasi Gospel-Frank II recently shared a story about a mistaken payment, where he received 200k instead of 20k and promptly returned the excess amount.

This got me thinking about a similar experience I had with our dry cleaner. I mistakenly overpaid him without even knowing about it, and when he reached out to return the extra money, I was reminded of the importance of integrity in all our dealings.

Integrity is an important virtue that anyone can embrace. It's about being honest and trustworthy in every situation. When people know they can trust you, it strengthens relationships and opens doors for opportunities.

One simple way to build integrity is by returning any extra change you receive, no matter how small the amount. Whether it's #20 or more, returning it shows integrity and demonstrates respect for others. And let your Yes be truly Yes!

Imagine the impact of returning extra money to someone who might be struggling financially. Every act of integrity, no matter how small, contributes to building a better community based on trust and honesty. Let's all strive to uphold integrity in our daily lives and interactions.

Considering the significance of Christ's death, which brought salvation and hope to mankind, it's evident that without His sacrifice, our lives wouldn't hold the same meaning.

Thinking about His resurrection, I realized it wasn't just Jesus who died with our sins; He arose as a sinless Christ with a renewed purpose. For God has highly exalted him and given him a name above every other name, so that at the mention of the name Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord!

This teaches us that true transformation requires putting to death our old selves and embracing the Life of Christ. And when this happens, you can never be the same. There's going to be a tremendous transformation because a truly better 'you' will emerge.

Many of us claim to follow Christ yet cling to our old habits and attitudes of sin. However, as the Bible teaches, we cannot pour new wine into old wineskins; we must embrace change from the inside out.

So, let's put the old self to death, and embrace the transformative power of Christ's death and resurrection, allowing it to bring new life and vitality to every aspect of our lives.

How can a temple be destroyed and rebuilt in three days?

Even if money is on the ground, it's not possible.

And the same temple took so many years to build. 🙄

But Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."

They replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to destroy and build it in three days?"

Omo! These guys were confused. They couldn't comprehend what Jesus meant.

Little did they know that the temple he had spoken of was his body, and they never knew.

Kai! It happened just as he said it. My Jesus died and resurrected after three days. All he did was just for me. I can't trade this Love for anything.💃💃

Sometimes we might be tempted to think “I’m too old for that.” Or you feel like an opportunity has passed you by.

You are never too old and it’s never too late. You can always make a difference in the world.

If there is something that you want to do, then start taking the steps to do it.

I have read stories of 70-year-old female bodybuilders and 80-year-old marathon runners. If they can do something like that, then so can you.

Whatever your dream is, start pursuing it. You are not too late! But it becomes too late when you gets old and finally leave the earth.

When you are just starting out as a writer, it’s common to look at your work and feel discouraged. You might even believe that you're not meant to write at all.

But hold on! Comparing your early drafts to polished pieces is like comparing a rough sketch to a finished painting.

Chances are, you've never seen another writer's first draft unless they've explicitly shared it. 🤔

Every book you've read has gone through numerous revisions and edits, possibly involving other people besides the author.

Speaking from experience as an editor, I can assure you that even the authors I've worked with had rough patches in their manuscripts. But despite this, their books were still appreciated by readers, thanks in part to the editing process.

So, if you have the ability to put words on paper, you're already on the right track. Keep writing—I believe in you!

Every time I visit this market, something sticks with me, and it's far from amusing.

You can feel the energy in his voice—no fancy sound system, just the raw power of his vocal cords drawing people to his stand.

And you know what surprised me the most? 🤔

He doesn't even have a shop; someone gave him space by the road.

My kid's collection of boxers keeps growing because his voice demands attention every time I visit the market.

This guy shamelessly sells his goods daily by shouting out to passers-by. He sells boxers.

But here's the kicker: people actually reach out to him because he stands out.

He didn't waste the space offered to him. Yet here we are, with a space on this blue app, and all we do is share birthday pictures, memes, and gossip. And you never talk about your business.

We even feel that the people showing up here for their business are showing off. And I wonder how some people make Mark rich but are never enriching their pockets too.

Isn't it time for a change?

You might not need to shout like him, but if people don't know what you do, they won't reach out.

Last year, while at the bank opening a domiciliary account, I found myself lost in the digital pages of 'The Fourth Dimension' by Dr. David Yonggi Cho. With each chapter I delved into before being attended to, I experienced a paradigm shift.

When I observe the older generation in church, I'm struck by their dedication and the challenges they face in remaining committed to their faith. It led me to reflect on how they lived in their younger years.

Recently, while travelling, I learned of the passing of a lady I knew from my childhood. Remembering her, I was struck by her beauty, akin to that of an Arabian princess, with her long, captivating hair and flawless skin.

Oh my God! She's a beauty to behold! She dosen't look like a Nigerian.

Upon recalling her beauty, my mother reminded me that I only knew her in her later years. In her prime, luxury cars often flaunted her, but as time passed, her beauty faded, and those men distanced themselves. None of them married her. And I wondered why.

Before she d*ied, she started going to church.

This led me to contemplate Ecclesiastes 12:1, urging us to remember our creator in the days of our youth.

So, if you're still alive, it's a privilege to serve God. If you're young, seize the opportunity.

Don't wait until evening, when strength wanes. Gather your wood in the morning to prepare for the evening.

Live a life devoted to God; it's the most fulfilling because you will be privilege to go through life without terrible regrets and emotional scars.

Don't let anyone deceive you; the true essence of life lies in Christ. Life is so hard to do without God. Don't let anyone deceive you or make you believe that serving God is all fallacy.

Serve God with your beauty, energy, and all you have.

Serve God now that you are young because young age is an advantage! Don't let the youthful pleasure derive you of old age rest.

You lose nothing by serving Him!

Similarly, just as the blind man persisted in calling out for help despite attempts to silence him, remember to speak up boldly on this platform about your business, services, or any other aspect of your livelihood.

Don't let fear, self-doubt, or any other obstacles hold you back. If someone is trying to silence you here, please unfriend or block them. And don't give them any reason for doing so!
