in simple terms if a husband is poisoned to almost death or beaten to almost death then he realises that his wife actually bought the poison or paid the beaters and he sleeps and shares everything with the wife will you advice him to forgive her and continue leaving with her in the same house just because she has apologised or you narrowly escaped???

The Nyahururu Declaration from the Mt. Kenya and Diaspora Parliamentary Leaders Forum, held on September 12, 2024, signals a renewed commitment to the region's development and economic well-being. The declaration is crafted as a strategic move to assure Mt. Kenya residents of tangible progress, while aligning with the Kenya Kwanza government under President William Ruto.

Key Benefits for Mt. Kenya Residents:
1. The formation of a coordinating committee is intended to streamline the engagement between elected MPs and the executive branch. This will ensure that the region’s legislative and development priorities are communicated effectively.

2. The declaration acknowledges that the next three years will be focused on revitalizing the economy. The K K government has been credited with stabilizing the economy post-pandemic, and residents of Mt. Kenya stand to benefit from policies aimed at improving agricultural outputs (coffee, tea, potatoes, milk, etc.).

3. A commitment to addressing stalled road, water, and electricity projects is emphasized. This has been a major concern for the region, and the MPs pledge to lobby for increased budgetary allocations.

4. The move to appoint CS for Interior Prof. Kithure Kindiki as the region’s link to the national government highlights a push for unity in leadership and policy articulation. This eliminates fragmented political agendas and helps ensure developmental goals are aligned.

5. MPs reforms focused on better prices for key cash crops are crucial for the region, which relies heavily on agriculture. The MPs promise to spearhead initiatives to achieve favorable market conditions and agricultural reforms.

6. Prioritization of GMR (Guaranteed Minimum Returns) which is a key manifesto promise that could provide price stabilization for agricultural produce, benefiting farmers across the region.
