ARE YOU A WHOLE NUMBER OR A DECIMAL?
When it comes to smartphones, the question seems straightforward: 16 Pro, Plus, Pro Max? But it’s not as simple as it looks—this question hints at an entire universe.
A universe of what, you might ask? Nothing?
Let’s set aside for a moment the material aspect of these super-mega-hyper technological devices and focus instead on the subtle symbolism behind the numbers:
Are you a “14 Plus,” a “15 Pro,” or a “16 Pro Max” kind of person, or do you prefer the simplicity of whole numbers, with no extra decimals, commas, or fancy additions?
And if we’re talking about grades, what type are you: someone who settles for halves and quarters or strives for solid, unambiguous results? Does that decimal change anything, or is it just a visual illusion?
In life, where do you stand? Do you believe a comma holds meaning, or do you crave unfiltered clarity? Because, at the end of the day, that’s what it’s about.
As for me, instead of getting caught up in deciding whether I’m a half, a fraction, or a decimal, I take a step back and embrace what I truly am: a person who doesn’t bother with halves and fragments.
No decimals, commas, final letters dangling at the end—no afterthoughts or crumbs.
In school, at work, and in life, I believe one should aim for whole numbers—clean, direct answers. Yes or no. Never a hesitant “maybe.” Even if, more often than not, it means hearing a “no.”
