A video of authorities placing a wreath of flowers where Friar Savonarola was hung, then burned, on May 23, 1498 for opposing Florentine government. The video also contains the historical Renaissance-style pageant and the ceremony of throwing rose petals in the Arno where Savonarola's ashes were scattered.
