A little bit about me...

Hello!

I’m delighted that you are reading this far on my page – so thank you!

I’m Beth, Founder of Socially Oxford, based in (unsurprisingly) beautiful Oxfordshire. I’m a trained professional in Social Media Marketing having completed the award-winning Digital Mums Strategic Social Media Management Programme, and trained in Facebook Paid Advertising with leading UK expert Emma Van Heusen. I am also incredibly proud to say I spent a year as the Lead Facilitator for Oxfordshire based digital training business TechPixies for their Social Media Magic course, working for award-winning entrepreneur Joy Foster.

During this time I took over 25 women through their face to face 8 week training programme in weekly four hour workshops, receiving excellent feedback. You can check out some of my many training testimonials on my website or LinkedIn page.

My desire is to be able to flexibly support businesses and charities with a need to better understand and be more strategic about social media marketing, no matter how big or small you are. I can offer you or your business support in a variety of ways, whether you are looking to reach consumers or B2B, or just want a fresh perspective on taking your social strategy forward. There are different options available to suit different budgets, so please check out my services on my website or in the Services section of this page.

My previous experience all comes from large blue chip organisations where I spent 18 years working across a mix of Sales, Marketing and Commercial Account Management positions. The majority of my career was spent working for Coca Cola Enterprises, working across their large portfolio of soft drinks which also included Schweppes, Capri-Sun and Appletiser. My extensive corporate background means I think commercially and business first. I won’t encourage you to spend money where you don’t need to, and I have skills that mean I can professionally and impactfully deliver training workshops that will leave individuals feeling confident and empowered.

A few more things about me….

I love Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds (being an outdoor girl at heart), and you’ll read lots of outdoorsy chat on my social media channels, including a lot of running talk (my other huge passion in life apart from my kids). I am not a particularly fast runner, or super competitive at it, I genuinely just love the participation.

When I was about 25, someone at work told me I should have been a teacher. At the time I didn’t pay much attention to this remark, but after having now experienced the joy of taking women through the TechPixies programme and seeing their confidence and abilities grow, I do find myself wishing I’d paid more attention to this feedback! Still, better late than never!

Finally, I have this thing about almond croissants. Less said on that the better!
