Work Starts on Major Newport Regeneration Scheme.
Partnerships developer Lovell and its partner Newport City Homes have officially started construction on the latest stage of the Ringland Regeneration project in Newport.
The large-scale transformation programme will bring a new lease of life to the Ringland area of Newport and has been developed in close consultation with the local community.
It will involve the delivery of 158 new homes and the relocation of the Ringland shopping centre, ensuring that residents can continue to take pride in their community.
The £47 million project is set to be delivered over four phases, with construction work due to complete in November 2028, and it will provide apprenticeship and work experience opportunities for local people.
James Duffett, regional managing director at Lovell, said:

“We know that this project will transform the Ringland area into a sustainable and vibrant place that people will be proud to live and work in.
After our successful completion of the Cot Farm development in 2021, we are looking forward to working with Newport City Homes and Cardiff Capital Region once again on this exciting endeavour.”
